Tactics Danish’s 90 goals Werner tactic

Another tactic from my Augusta National Golf Club Challenge. This one is from Hole 2 where I scored 90 goals on both season with Timo Werner.

Formation

Keeping my style of using the Libero still. We used 3 playmakers which I said is not advisable but I’m experienced enough to know how it’ll work well. It’s a mix of Stationary and Mobile roles that complement each others.

Shape Instructions 

Something I barely use but I’ve been looking for a logical way to give space between my playmakers and poacher so that they won’t shoot as much.

Defence Instructions 

I used deep to make sure my Libero will be the focal point of the attack build ups.

Attacking Instructions

I forced my team to make Through Balls to make the best out of Werner’s high pace. Mixed Distributions to give a little bit of unpredictability.

 

Result

As you can see I scored 90 goals on both season.

 

Side Notes: I might be lucky to score 90 goals on both seasons. The result might not be the same for everyone. Don’t blame me if it doesn’t work for you.

Do you notice any performance problems when playing against defensive teams? I’m assuming it’s harder to play through balls against a defensive team

Yeah I do find some teams are actually quite hard to score against but as my squad gets stronger it’s been less of a problem to me

Got sacked using this tactic after a horror start. I'm going to have another go though in a different league to England.

It could be because my team when doing this are already world class or it’s not suitable for England

So far this tactic seems to be very dependent on squad quality. Against a team in a lower division, this will run 20-30 shots, 65% possession, and no chances conceded. 

But against anyone close to the same quality as your team, results so far have been 4-6 shots per game for both teams, even possession, and lots of long balls to no one since the libero just stands next to the keeper on goal kicks instead of actually helping you move the ball forward. 

Expressive passing seems like it's only an option for world class teams.

The style doesn’t matter as they are just preset tactics and once you change the team instructions to Broodje’s settings it will be a unique tactic.

Wide, deep defensive line, allover closing down

These are not very popular settings, could you share your points behind them?

It’s quite simple for it.

Wide Width - While I was making this tactic, I need to make sure my APs, Janujaz and Johnston stays further from goal and pass the ball to Werner instead of shoot the ball from distance.

Deep Defensive Line - I use Libero so it means he must be the main part of my attacking transition. Deep line making sure Arrizabalaga didn’t pass the ball long too often.

All Over Closing - It’s probably the most famous setting for the defensive instructions. I need them to retain the ball as quick as possible. Playing relentless pressing would really help me to have more possession.

Well, i've been using this tactic on newest patch, still work but not really superior like yours. I think need some tweaks or increase relationship players. Thx
