Career Dai's "Badge 04" attempt. 3 (wise) men & a baby (Jesus)

Another cracking challenge to have a go at whilst I'm struggling to choose both player and team for my 1k Challenge. 

 

After much deliberation, I decided to keep it simple and use Manchester City for this challenge. The wisest of wise men being; Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne & young Philly Foden. 

I'll rattle through this quite quickly, I think.

Cheers, butt. Yeah, might regret that one. I've always had brilliant results with Foden (on previous games) as a central AM so I'm hoping I can get that from him again. Also, going to use my tactic i used in my 1kc on the FMM19 version which used 3 AM's with great success.

Luckily, only a few injuries to the big three throughout the season. De Bruyne was missed the most. Goals seemed to dry up slightly for Jesus. I used Zinchenko to cover KDB and all he seemed to do was score rather than assist. Helped with results but not with the challenge. 😑

So, I'm slightly regretting using Foden instead of Bernardo Silva and might attempt this again at some point with him.

I know the tactical geniuses on this site will destroy this score but I'm quite happy with it. It was a thoroughly enjoyable challenge.

Great result mate. I'm doing this too at the moment, but it's gone off the rails a bit right now, would be pretty happy to get this score. 🙂

Anyway, that's a good return from Jesus and the kings did well too. Maybe Foden could have done more, but when there's 4 players in the mix, one is going to do a little worse than the others...

I wasn't sure how to approach it. With wingers supplying crosses or trying to play through the middle. In a way I'm happy that one of my old tactics still works so well. So thats something to come out of it. 🤣
