Career That Was Some Party Bruno 🍺🤢 (Attempting Again)

Seeing as I love mini challenges I will be attempting the Bruno Fernandes challenge today hopefully, you can find this challenge here:

I’ve actually had a go at this one already but was only a test run so didn’t make any signings really and I actually found it quite difficult. In my head I know what I want to do this time round, if it works? I don’t know yet, we shall see.

I think I’ve figured out a way to get the best out of him now, that Chelsea game even though we won was our worst performance so far 😂

First Half 

So you probably read I had written this out once already, so I would go as in depth as I did before, but I will try my best. I had a bit of an advantage in this one as I have tested before, I know what didn’t work at least, so I will take you through the first half of the season.

Transfers

So some big names out but some brilliant names in. Was honestly delighted with this window, I like to think of myself as a good wheeler and dealer and I think I got some good names in that makes us so strong both first and second team.

Tactic

 

So this is where I went most in detail, this isn’t exactly how I started off in the first couple of games, but after watching extended highlights and seeing how different roles linked up, I noticed the poacher would look more for the through ball off Fernandes and the DLF would lay Fernandes off more for the shot. Which worked great for most of the first part of the season. But I had a bit of an idea of moving them out wide and using them as inside forwards and this just clicked, he was having more shots than the strikers then, finally! Not that he wasn’t doing well anyway, I used a similar way of playing for Mbappe and Neymar when they were inside forwards but this one makes sure the play goes through Bruno and not the wide players.

So what a season so far, even the games we drew with Man City and Tottenham we should have won, creating plenty of chances and solid most games.

The league in our sights already, we have really dominated, just call me Richard Ferguson. Can we stay undefeated?

Bruno Fernandes 

 

The boy is a beast and is killing it big time, i enjoyed managing Son at Tottenham so much, but now I’ve found someone else who just dominates games as well, I hope he can continue this for the rest of the season.

It does feel like that! I never use 3 at the back, but it’s doing the job on this one. Does help that Bruno’s stats are unreal, this is my second time doing this and he hasn’t had 1 injury, beast!

With whacky tactics, my goal bonanza still works, nothing will ever stop that, been going with me for years 😂

Nicely done mate, I've finished my season but can't upload till later on tonight cause I'm in work, without spoiling much the tactic was phenomenal but Bruno didnt contribute as much as I'd hoped

At least you’ve made a tactic to use again! With this one I’ve created now it’s given me an idea for a long term career I’ll do at some point, which will be different to ones I’ve done before😁

Second Half

So welcome back to the second part of this career and I really struck gold I felt like in the change to my tactic and it’s got me over excited now and I can’t contain myself here, so let’s get going 😂

Transfers

So I’ve already gone through this but there was an extra deal at the end of January, had a random bid for De Gea off Chelsea for 36.5m which I accepted and then brought in Onana for 42m plus Mitrovic.

So I can’t go in to this too much as I’ve had such success towards the end of the season that I want to use this in a long term challenge at some point, it worked so well! You shall see below.

So we meet again and we beat you again but in more convincing fashion, as Bruno dominates another final.

Premier League

Dominant, there isn’t much to say other than it was a great season, does help having a very strong squad in every position, this and the Spurs one have been my favourite short challenges, proper enjoyed.

Champions League

Manchester City we meet again for a third final, which is a bit mad, I’m sure Manchester will be red for a little while after this. Bruno impacted more than the other games, we didn’t play as well, but doesn’t matter when he’s in this form.

So wanted to give you an insight of how he played in games and how many shots he would get, loved this so much, happy talking about it, how sad am I 😂

BRUNO FERNANDES

 

Awesome just awesome, it was such a pleasure to manage. One thing I’m interested in seeing is if he has any injuries for anyone else as I’ve done this twice with him now and he hasn’t been injured. 

Also this season has given me an idea to take this tactic on a long term journey, as I think he would have got closer to 80/90 goals if I played the way I did from January.

Score

Goals - 68

Assists - 33 + 33

Total - 134 

If anyone can get assists going on this challenge my score is definitely beatable, good luck to everyone who tries it, it’s fun.
