Given that @Kanegan mentioned not being able to play until the end of financial year, that means it'll be April before he can play properly.

So that would be a 3ish week delay. I'd say we play 1 season. Then wait for others to catch up.

So essentially either have a break for 2 weeks, or a really slow (1.5 weeks a season) continue.

Just to make sure I'm not missing something, are we playing a normal season now? Or waiting for a new bonus? Or just on hiatus?

@Kanegan asked for some extra time to complete his season so we're gonna wait for him.

@Kanegan sent the results this morning so... there is a big "dilema" right now, I've sent to all a message. Depending on your answeras, the next season can start tomorrow or we need to delay it a bit so everything will get back to normal.

Update: Broodje in, Chris out

Few hours ago I finished the save, period correct. It took me a lot to complete (around 9 hours) but good thing I could work while doing it. I've used the November database to make sure we're on the same page. 

@broodje kip got Nancy in June 2026, the date Chris was last time. And managed to get few players Chris had and two of his milers. I could get the 3rd also but that was on the go already in Chris's save, see screenshots from Chris.

Hello and welcome lads. I rejoined this competition after dropping out myself back in season one but this one I will be replacing @Chris.

Right after I get into the save, I looked through the transfer market and a few days later I founded a real gem hiding in the free agents. I quickly snapped him up to be my third player and he is....

Nicolo Zaniolo! @Kanegan’s favourite FM player. He will be playing as Trequartista for my team.

Not long after I started the new season, I discovered Aye got a release clause of £6M and Strasbourg came in to save me from using the shit looking striker.

I decided to use someone that gad attracted my eye.

He came through my youth setup and started with a very impressive starting attributes.

I mean, I love France as you can smash some big numbers here. I will show my manager profile a little bit later, when I'm gonna talk about the season bonus. Ok, with my results out of the way, let's talk about the big news...

@broodje kip is back in the game to sub Chris and I'm glad he is here, more players means more fun. And I bet Kipy feels the same way I do about France as he managed to get both trophies at stake, so 2 points, and get him a nice 104 miles, 94 were from the new players 

@hhooo had also over 100 miles, 108 to be more precise, and also 2 points. I would say some stunning numbers if you think he had less matches than me or Kipy 👍

And, the last player to join the 100+ miles club this season is @Albionic that bagged 111 miles and got the bonus, so 126 miles in total. Also got 4 points and it looks to me that he likes to play in Torino.

@JamesVilla only that he got to Barcelona so is pretty standard to get just few miles, 42, and he managed to get a 3rd place in the league that will get him a lot more matches next season, be ready, Villa is on the rise again! Not to forget, he bagged 2 points by winning the Spain Supercup and Europa League.

France is also host to @Kanegan who got a 3rd place finish in the league and did what he knows how to do best, won the cup! 1 point in the bag and 70 miles.

When we started this game I was thinking that Belgium is a easy league to play in but it turns out is not quite true as both @Kanegan and @geordiekrispy didn't get high numbers of miles there. Geordie simply killed the league but only got himself 61 miles. When I say he killed, he really killed getting a GD of 112 that will give him the bonus. Total 76 miles and 2 points. 

The 3rd player to get the bonus was me, I had the same GD as Geordie, 112, that gives me 127 miles, so top earner this week, and 4 points.

Miles, points and season bonus all sorted out, noe let's talk about the season bonuses!

1. Biggest transfer goes to @JamesVilla. Miles and trophy points can't be earned after 3 seasons but bonus points can as is about your work. The screenshot is taken at the end of the season, I checked player history and both clubs fixtures and everything matches up, the player left Real before 5th of October aka Summer Transfer Window when Villa was in charge of Real Madrid.

2. Most league points, and a new record for France, me! I share this one with @geordiekrispy who got a new record for Belgium. So it doesn't get any confusion, in Belgium you get 34 games and your points are halved and then you play another 6 games. If you do the match, me and Geordie are equal on points won in the league.

4. Highest scoring draw. @hhooo had the idea that if I have great defense for once I won't get this one... true, I had a great defense but all the best players were used in the league so I got this one again, this time in Champions League 🤣 Look at how the score went, crazy!!

The Board

I had a great season with 4 points and 3 season points and equalized Kipy (19 points), Kane got left behind (13 points). hhooo and Albionic are neck-n-neck (22 and 23 points) and the same is upfront with Villa and Geordie (30 and 31 points). We are also most at half of the game and many things can change, push the pedal!!

The bonus will come today or tomorrow, I didn't told @Rich that I will post today and not sure if he is still up!

Deadline: As usual is one week Monday, 29th March, 10:00 AM GMT . BUT, with @broodje kip hoping late and @Kanegan with a hard workload, we can extend it few days so... everyone, play relaxed, this is a game and should always be fun and help you relieve the daily stress.

I just started the season and just one week before the first match I got this offer for one of my milers... 

Good think I like to take out the Min. Release Fee so they can't go... Bad thing I don't have it because this would be the biggest transfer fee for sure 😡

This is my chosen player for the bonus. He scored 50+ goals last season iirc and I hope he can get at least 70 this time or even 100 maybe. The squad are good except for Zwarts who I tried to sell with his release clause but no one wants to buy him for even £11.5M 😥
