Finally got to put screenshots so one of my player retired and I replaced him. Here is his replacement:

I got @broodje kip results earlier today so we can continue the journey... but not all of us, @hhooo and @Chelseaplchamps2022 finished their route so they will have to wait until everybody will finish. Chelsea didn't had the best final season but he bagged 35 points for finishing the route (10 for the finish and 25 bonus points for finishing earlier), hhooo on the other hand had a great season on Madtjylland that got him 3 trophies.

Now the remaining 4 players must catch up and do their best to finish. This is the beauty of the game, you compete with others but your biggest rival is you and we will know the winner only after the last player get's to finish and we can distribute the career bonus points.

Back to Kippy, he is the best earner this season with 228 miles, 91 from @Rich's bonus. He also got 2 points.

Next "big guy" was @geordiekrispy with a grand total of 177 miles and a clean sweep that got him 5 points. @Albionic seems to like Germany and got 130 miles from his first full season in the 2.Bundesliga and one point for winning it. Last, but not least, @JamesVilla moved from Barcelona to Olympique de Marseille and bagged 72 miles and won the league there so... 2 points  He won the UEFA Super Cup while he was at Barcelona.

 

Not to forget, before I move on, starting next season two season bonuses will be deleted. Chelsea was a good guy and opted for the biggest draw to be removed. hhooo was more... competitive and removed the biggest transfer fee received. That's being said, let's see who got what on the season bonuses!

1. Biggest transfer goes to @JamesVilla. He was forced to sell but I bet he is not mad about it

@geordiekrispy will have time at RC Lens until 22nd Dec 2030. All others will move in season 12 or 13, so no rush.

 

The board

This looks totally out of balance with hhooo at 71 points and Chelsea at 64 but is deceiving as a lot of points are still in the game. Even the score of hhooo and Chelsea are not their final score as there are still points to be won via career bonus points, so still 34 points to be awarded at the end of the game. Geordie is in the lead of the pack with 45 points, next Villa with 40, Albionic 34 and Kipy 26.

I wonder who will finish next?

 My choices for moving on are getting reduced all the time!

Good job Marseille was a bit too far out of the way for me.

I need to figure out how to get more goals out of my two youngsters before I have to move on.

Macias was sold for his release fee;

So ive spoken to @George Traistă and he has confirmed this is okay.

I hadn't played any league games, and found a player better than what I had (who had become a miler this season). 

First off, my loan (4th) player for this season;

And this player is replacing Jonny who retired, and is being used instead of Juarez;

Erg... That feeling when you play for a few hours at night and forget to save it then the next morning you accidentally open the saved game and it overwrites the progress you made last night...

Pfff... I stopped using autosave and started to hate it, is pointless and when you need the most it gives you identical useless saves. 

Is only useful if you have only one save.

And it overwrites your other autos saves with extra copies of the one you opened as soon as you open it

Not really, I think I've had it on them all at various stages though. But I think I've killed my goal getters' by playing them too much. As they're always tired.

After the first few seasons I started playing a 2 up top system and kept them rotating constantly. They get burnt out so fast playing all 3 together

Quick update: I've moved on from my all conquering RC Lens side... I'm gutted as the team was clicking so well this season.

They'd been struggling this season with the champions league and the league, so I have a feeling the team will be full of older players that are on massive contracts, but that's a nice little transfer kitty to work with and they're a 5 star club so I should be able to bring in good players.

It was a balancing act of when to apply for the job as my last game before the festive break was on the 20th Dec, but theirs was on the 22nd. I thought it would take a week, but I didn't want to be rushed into picking players who were already at the club.

I only needed 11 miles this season to get there, but as the team has already been managed I have to pay the extra 25 miles to @Chelseaplchamps2022, but seeing as he's already finished he can't use them! So I'm not actively helping anyone still playing.

 

I will send the screenshots of my season so far at RC Lens to @George Traistă in a couple of hours when I get a chance, but let's just say already had more that enough to get me there...

I'll also spend my lunch break trawling through the team and the markets to get myself some new goal getters. I still get an additional one right @Rich?

 

As a side note it's always fun to see PSG in the relegation zone! 🤣

So before I get started naming my goal getters, can I just say...

I miss my young wonderkids who are on a tiny wage! This OL team is full of aging plyares who are all wanting to retire at the end of their contract (in two seasons time!) and anyone who I want to get rid of who isn't thinking of retiring is on a massive wage so nobody wants to buy them... I'm talking over 100k for most of the team. It amuses me that the nickname for OL is "the kids" as these are not kids, most of the team is over 30.

 

Right so, now I've got that off my chest here are my proposed goal getters:

Yes my goal getters are 3 new players I brought in over the festive break. Quite frankly I understand why they're struggling to score as they've only got 1 good striker and some good wingers, plus a few good defensive midfielders. But hardly anyone has any creativity so nobody is making their goals for them.
