Ok, so after scouring the free transfer market offering contracts to the better looking players, I then realised that my next game was the same day I got offered the job.

 

So I have chosen my mile earners from who is available at the club right now;

"The young prospect"

 

"The young striker"

 

"The one that has some technique"

 

Not great, but hopefully we can do a smash and grab and jump over to France after a season.

Alright, I've chosen my 3 milers for Heidenheim. There was one prime aged striker already at the club that I was thinking about, but these guys will hopefully be better in a slower paced season in Germany (Also they hate my assistant manager from Grenoble because they think he released them! Shhhh... )

Damn it! I should have released some of the wonderkids I'd been amassing at Hamburg so I could pick them up at Antwerp.

Don't forget to arrange to have your old club buy a bad player or two from your new club for inflated prices! Money laundering is just good strategy in FMM.

I dunno, it just feels a bit like gaming the system...
To late now, I've submitted my end of season scores and am chomping at the bit to have a bit of a clear out and sign some awesome players to push hard on all fronts.

Is the first time I'm trying it, the board could still cancel it (with good reason, 5m for a guy worth 475k is not great business).

Season 6 was almost a copycat of season 3, everybody on the run, everybody wanted to make the move quickly… everybody except @JamesVilla. Last time he moved the last and went for Real, this time he wanted to go for Barcelona but, sadly for him and luckily for all others, the job didn’t come in and he is still in Madrid. How much will he wait? Not sure, make your bets! 

 

Like the last time, @hhooo had the craziest move: long and to a broken-down team. He went to Germany’s second division, to the team that was rock bottom. With 22 wins, out of 24 games, he managed to get the team to the first place, next time he will have to play in the Bundesliga against top teams like Bayern or Dortmund. 

 

Nice thing to see was how @Chris has grown and now he can make wise decisions without going into full panic mode. He traveled south to Dijon and even if he didn’t use Rich’s bonus, only 7 miles were wasted, big improvement. And it looks like France is getting crowded, @hhooo left but I came in to Lyon and @Kanegan went from Liege to Auxerre so that means we are 3 in France right now with a total of 5 clubs being taken already. @Albionic and @geordiekrispy are close to France now and we may see a move there soon. The last one who will come to France will be, probably, @JamesVilla and he will have to pick carefully the route so he won’t have to pay.  

Kane and Chris moved at the beginning of the season and they got the most miles with 79, respectively 108 miles for Chris. Next was Albionic with 62 miles, hhooo with 55, me with 34 and Geordie with 15 accumulated miles after the move. The differences may look big but is mostly due to the fact they moved earlier or later in the season. 

As for trophies, I got a big 0 but I managed to take Lyon from 12th place to 2nd in just 17 matches and that means I will play the French Supercup (Trophee des Champions) next season. Kane and Chris got one points aka the league, so they both got promoted. hhooo also got one trophy to his new team, and one at his old teams so that makes up 2 points. Albionic also got 2, Geordie 3 and Villa took the most, 4. And to talk a little about the bonus, some didn’t use it, Kane barely touched it using only 1 mile and I used it full, the whole 20 miles. At first, I’ve hated the bonus but now I think it was the best so far.

 

Now, the part of the write where drama unfolds… season bonuses! 

1. For once, I was 100% I will win this bonus with 100M that I got for Balanta. And I won it… nope! @geordiekrispy made the steal!

3. Biggest win (margin). A consolation prize for @JamesVilla for not getting his dream move, yet.

4. Highest scoring draw. @Albionic was so confident that finally he will get this bonus, he got a 4-4 in his first game at Juventus. Bad luck, I too had a crazy first game at Lyon… real crazy!

Not much have changed here, me and Kane are still fighting to see who is last… Chris pulled away from us with one point. hhooo took a slight advantage of one point over Albionic. Villa managed to equalize Geordie at the top and they both have 27 points, that’s more than double than me and Kane!
