Plenty clubs around, my other options were Saint-Etienne, SC Lyon(L2), Grenoble (hhooo, 25 miles) and Clermont-Foot.

I have a feeling I'm going to have to go the Northern route rather than the Southern or central routes, which means a lot of miles are needed...

My first idea was to get north, Zaragoza to Toulouse or Pau first, then Rodez or Clermont-Foot and keep north in hope of PSG job... But all changed after the move to Girona. 

 

Also, when you get close, check for the new teams in the game, it can help, and if you fancy a second division team.

Yeah I've been looking at the all teams in range in game, rather than just in the table in real life. Some clubs have been relegated twice and other new ones have come up from the lower divisions.

What were the other assist totals last season, out of curiosity? I surprised that mine was significantly higher than others, the quality of player wasn't that different.

Lyon has a ok-is team, very bad at the back but with some good players upfront. I traded 2 wonderkid for 2 woderkids from Girona.

Lyon was a team that I was considering using, ah well! Some good attributes there, and will definitely improve. There is one club in mind this season, but they may be too good for me to get it.

Also speaking of relegated and promoted clubs, Spezia, who I was aiming for, got relegated twice in 2 seasons and were unplayable.

The same thing happened to me with Pau FC, when I had the miles to go there they got relegated 😂

You can still use Lyon, you just need to pay up, show me the miles baby 🤑

Evening all. Just an update as I've decided to move clubs at the beginning of the new season. I forgot to take the screenshot for the welcoming to the club though, and by the time I remembered the message was gone from my inbox. I cleared this up with @George Traistă and I hope no one else sees an issue with it. I've attached a screenshot of when I remembered and I've only played the first friendly of the season.

Anyway the club in question is the mighty Dijon! I wasted only 7 miles getting here so I was fairly content with the move... Until I got a good look at the team. Saying that, I'm still fairly happy with the players I've chosen considering we are in the 2nd division.

That part of France is getting crowded with Grenoble, Lyon and Dijon already taken. Dijon was on my list with possible moves but I will cross that out now 😁

I was hoping for St Etienne tbh but it was just a tad out of reach and I didn't want to risk getting stuck at Lille gaining no points! Dijon was on my radar for a while though and I'm glad I stuck it out for them. I was offered the PSG job right at the beginning of last season but snubbed it after looking at the squad, and it wasn't a very distant move either.

Well, after having to settle for a much shorter move than I wanted last time, I have the exact move that I wanted

A grand total of 253 miles, using the 200 miles I had, plus Rich's 20 mile bonus, plus this :

Another 43 miles, giving me 263 miles (10 more than needed) we arrive at

Juventus (or Zebre, as they are known)! I am still in the process of finding players, but I was so excited I had to share this. They were 2nd, then went on an awful run, I declared interest and got the manager sacked, and here we are!

Also, side note, I must apologise to Sottil, he played very well this season after I switched systems

I have 4 days to find players.

I first saw Serrano, I player that I've used few times on my COPA90 and he is great, love him. Then Zirkzee, nice player.

But no way, Esposito!? At least is not a 1k with Esposito 🤢
