Edit: I've renamed this the My Way TT as explained here. The below might not make sense until you realise that the original name I used was The Rob TT. 😄

 

I can hear you all asking "what's a Rob TT"? The TT is obvious, but what is the Rob part all about?

Well, a Rob TT is the sort of TT you don't want to actually do because you have other careers in progress and badges you need to go for, but you get manipulated into doing anyway by @Rob.

Now, he'll probably tell you that it didn't take much to twist my arm, and maybe it didn't, but he knew just where to apply pressure. It wasn't particularly gentle pressure mind you, with him saying Newcastle were too poor and it was too hard to do a TT there and it was destined to fail. Not that he believes any of that, he was just manipulating me. Well, it seems I've fallen for it... Points to you Rob.

So... A TT. And it's at Newcastle. Right?

Well yes, although I'm only calling it a TT for convenience sake and because I need a target. I probably won't get it added to the leaderboard when I inevitably succeed (and inevitably find that Rob's not that impressed anyway), it's just for fun.

So... Which players? 

I don't know yet, I'll work that out when I start a save. Most likely I will get Pellegri and Esposito there. I know that is massively boring that I use them all the time, but I love them both and the idea of them in a Newcastle shirt is pretty appealing to me. But we'll have to wait and see.

As for when... I'll finish my Ronny badge attempt first. Then I guess I'm not going straight back to my Beijing 3x1KC, I'll have to start this. I still hope to get back to that one day (and it's an easier one to pick up when you are winning 7-0 all the time). But Newcastle will be my next stop...

I know you’d do it. Lets not use Esposito and Pellegri again 😂.

I’d like to see you use Jose Juan Macias. He’s one of my favourite youngster in the game and I even planned to use him after I complete my Musiala career

Haha, I'm not tied to using them, but I think it will be hard to walk past them. Maybe I will finally give Sargent a turn in the spotlight. Or, there are one or two others I might use. Not promising I won't use them though! :D

Yeah he already is 20 but that’s not the problem.

Hmm, looks alright. But would like Aerial to be higher to work with my tactic...

Haha, so would I, but not this one. That's be pretty risky and if I fail, then I'll have to hide from Rob for the next 5 years or so...

You can be @Nucleus though, stop being online for a while then make a new account and call yourself @RichD

Haha, I guess I could. But you'd all be looking at this new player who always signs Pellegri, Esposito, Carrillo and you'd know who it was...

Thanks mate. As much as I'm blaming Rob for pushing me over the edge (and he did), I started thinking about this a couple of weeks ago. I was going to call it "The I'm Going To Do It My Way Now TT". 🤣

Yeah. And without the 18 months of mediocrity first! 🤣

Though obviously FMM is teensy bit easier than real life.

No way, Pellegri and Esposito!? I already feel that all TT and 1k on this forum are somehow related with at least one of them. 💯

I think we should have a rule that a player was used in one TT we should erase it from the database 😂 Or at least forbid other people of using it in 1k, DT or TT.

L. E. Go on @Scratch, show us that you can do it without these 2

That’ll be interesting but I’m sure we’ll barely see Haaland still

I feel like you and me get a lot of pressure these days on our TT’s or whatever it may be, fight through the pressure 😂
