Well done with the guesses guys. Didn't take you long at all 😊

I decided on the Portuguese league beforehand, but it took me a while to settle in a club. I ended up going with SLB as they have an okay transfer fund, plenty of players to sell, and our Challenger is already at the club. He looks like this at the beginning of S1:

Great stats in all the right places, and a decent coach report to boot. He also shows as "Professional" and "Rarely injured". Both great perks for these types of challenges.

The player is Joao Resende? I was tempted to use him before but Musiala edges it. He plays for Benfica too.

Yeah, another reason for the choice of country to be honest mate. I love the amount of young talent that comes through and they're always a mega team within a couple of years.

Season One

Transfers In

There was a lot of deals being made when I first took over the club. It was aging and I felt it could do with an injection of youth (I say the same about myself sometimes 🤔). Todibo was a loanee with a buyout clause too good to turn down. Dilrosun and Villa come in to feed Ramos with chances... Hopefully. 

Transfers Out

Results

Walked away with the national silverware but we really struggled in the others. This was to be expected with such a young squad, and we weren't too bothered with it this year. 

We scored a lot less goals away in the league, I noticed. Going to have to try a few things next season and see if we can't sort that out. 

Ramos

More growth than I was hoping for that's for sure. Greens starting to come through in the right places, and he still shows plenty of potential for more. 

I am really pleased with his return this year, and even with my usual January slumps he managed to pull through and grab 51 goals. Also not bad considering he was jaded ALOT and missed a fair amount of games. I was actually very surprised with how busy our match schedule was. 

The Team

Villa providing a lot of assists, and Horta feeding plenty too. Don't know where Dilrosun was for most of the season. It was almost like he wasn't on the pitch. Hoping he improves next season that's for sure.

So overall very pleased with this season, and his growth more than anything. Can't wait to get the next one done!

Thanks Dick. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the players we managed to sign actually. Also, he's probably widely known by the Vibe community but, I've never come across Livakovic before. Seems like a right bargain and still some room to grow it seems.

Just noticed that Ramos' movement was 12 at the beginning and at 18 now... Thats insane on its own, let alone the +3 to shooting/aerial!

Massive improvements. Good to get such big updates early and hit the ground running.

I’ve found in a few of my saves it’s an International Management job frenzy after the Qatar World Cup, so it hopefully won’t be too long!

BTW, what shirt number is he wearing? Weird question but he always wore number 88 against me.

Love the signings, Szoboszlai is a beast and weirdly always ends up at SLB in all my saves as well.

Thanks mate. Yeah 88 is his default for some reason. Didn't check if it was his preferred number though.

Szoboszlai is definitely looking great already, although Horta performed better in this season. Both still really young though.

Nice start Christine, a few great signings like Szoboszlai and Todibo already. Don’t worry about Dilrosun not getting assists. I always find ML not assisting as much as MR for some reason.
