Season Six

First off, managed to get my first winger to 20 crossing. This guy has been amazing for me since almost the beginning, although most of my assists do tend to go to the right wing. Highly recommend him:

Then on the right we started using this lad part way through the season as Villa just seemed to stop providing, even though his stats didn't really change. As you can see he was on fire, and I'm really hoping he can help hit those big numbers in seasons to come. I think he should be able to hit 20 crossing too. 

Transfers In

We already had incredible depth so we just bought in a few youngsters. Igreja is a CR7 regen (I think). 

Transfers Out

Barella started to decline quite badly at the tender age of 28!? We got rid of him as soon as January came about. At the end of this season I think we will also be losing Goretzka on a bosman as he wants ridiculous wages and his stats are nothing like they used to be, with barely any greens. Players seem to decline alot more aggressively and sooner this year. 

Results

Same as usual, but very dissapoint Ed to go out to Chelsea in the first knockout round. Again, this was on away goals in 2 low scoring matches that we dominated. Dissapointed to say the least, and I was just hoping the missed matches wouldn't make a huge difference. 

Ramos

I think it's safe to say he has peeked now 😂 

A great score again BUT (and there's always a but where I'm involved 😂) I am kind of raging. He only need 5 goals in his last 5 games to reach the 100 mark so I was almost certain he was going to get it. He went into the last game needing 2 more goals and after a first minute screamer he got my hopes up again... 

All that aside, I am still very happy with these results. I'm not sure if I will be able to get the century or not, but will continue to plod along either way. We are well on course to complete the challenge, and with an okay score. We are still in the World Cup, but don't think we will go very far. I'm still struggling to get the team to perform consistently and his numbers really bring down his GPG.

Nice one, Sir. He's flying. Its great when you get two top quality wingers assisting with relative consistency. Keep it going, mate. 👍

I have Ander with Villa and I had high hopes but his crossing has been stuck on 16 since he joined, but he is only 21, so I’ll keep him. Hopefully he goes to 20 with you.

Great season mate, unlucky to hit 99. I have Ander on my Delap save and he is one of my best assisters, with 18 or 19 crossing, and still potential. Keep it going!

Cheers all. Villa did well but Ander is definitely showing the potential to more than fill those boots. Still hopeful for a century but I'm now slightly panicking on the 1KC as a whole after seeing how quickly some of my players have started declining 😬

Very unlucky to end up on 99 but he still has a few years left to get that ton. Even if he can’t it won’t matter too much as he’s flying and certainly looking good for the target.
