Help Game far too easy

Im in a save with liverpool and using the editor to give them the same injuries as real life. I'm on 7 consecutive wins, 8 consecutive clean sheets and I have the likes Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams at the back, and had few games with Kelleher in goal. I've tried playing overload tactics, with high line and offside trap to make more challenging but nothing has changed. This only happens in the league. Champions league and cups im getting realistic results.

If your finding it too easy, have a browse through some of our challenges. Some of them put limitations on signings, player choices, team choices etc.

The game can be made a lot more difficult, try going lower league if you’re bored. Liverpool isn’t exactly a challenge even with some injuries 😁

And yes I agree with @George Traistă, try the Augusta, you won’t come out alive.

You have to realise that the injuries we have suffered this season are only the tip of the iceberg.

Here’s a few other valid reasons for our demise;

• The heavy schedule doesn’t suit us
• Our whole team had Covid when we were hammered by Villa
• VAR doesn’t like us anymore
• No fans inside stadiums which only affects us
• It’s been too windy in a good few of our matches
• We still haven’t got over the beach ball incident at Sunderland around a decade ago

I could go on but ultimately we’ve been every unlucky and you can’t expect the game to take all of our misfortunes into account.

I want to play as liverpool so challenges won't work. This is definitely a glitch as I've tried every possible tactic and all my backup defenders and goalkeeper and makes no difference

I'd be completely okay with it If i was just winning most games. It's the fact im winning and not conceding any goals with a patched up defense. Even when I physically try to lose a game it doesn't happen. Also as mentioned im struggling in the ucl so its not like im winning because I'm Liverpool, the tactics and players just don't seem to matter in the league.

You can play as Liverpool in Augusta.

The only actual league goal I've conceded was vs Leicester. The other 2 goals were when the game was finished so I messed around and actually tried to concede. (The trying to concede only worked vs big teams)

Haven't made any signings. My current team with injuries is Kelleher, Neco Williams, Nat Phillips, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Jones, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mane, Firmino. I've also downgraded some of the stats of these players to make it more challenging.

As you didn't get any new players and you are just half a season in... Save it, save also the tactics and start a new save and see if the same thing happens

Don't really want to make the effort to try a new save as had this same issue on last years game

Try a defensive tactic, I have never really found a way to make it work.

It literally takes you 5-10 minutes to try it (create new game, holiday until your first pl match, load the tactic and that's it). So you better stay with a broken save that you hate than try a new one. And if you had the same issue last year maybe is something wrong on how you create the save, no idea, I never heard this issue before

Tbf with the same squad you’re having, I can win the season unbeaten. You can follow George’s advice to play the Augusta challenge. It takes roughly 2-3 minutes to create a new save and Liverpool is one of the team you can choose to play Augusta if you really feel like the game is too easy.

Why not continue to Play Liverpool, but set your self a challenge, examples:

1. Sell EVERYONE and only buy FREE (Challenge 1)

2. Only Play reserves by bringing in Greyed players (Challenge 2)

3. Create a TEAM with only under 23 year old (challenge 3) 

It can go on and on, use Liverpool, but set internal challenges of you are not interested in going to the Challenge Options and trying those already created??

I wanted to do a realistic Liverpool save that's why challenges don't really work. As a Liverpool fan, selling a bunch of players is out of the question.

This should be difficult with the amount of injuries In the team. Nat Phillips also isnt as good on fm as irl

The computer isn't really good at tactics or raising players so yeah, game's easy.

 

Then again lots of people wouldn't buy it otherwise.

But that’s kind of the fun of it, you can make it harder for yourself, use just free transfers etc. There are plenty of hard challenges on here. The PC version is the “hard” version.

Did you think that’s a challenge? One of our member went to the Europa League knockout stage while still playing in Vanarama South.

You should try playing in weaker leagues like Northern Ireland, Wales or Republic of Ireland to say it’s too easy. Challenges that we had in the VPL and VWC were hard either and I don’t think most people can cope with it.

Think my 5 Champs Leagues in a row with a league of Ireland side was a good effort

You refuse to sell any of the good players. 

But you want the game to be a challenge. 

In 2 seasons Liverpool won the Champions League and the Premier League. 

In that time they played 110 games and only lost 15 and won 79.

If anything, not dominating would be more unrealistic than what you're complaining about.

Meh, only that i put in the time / effort to do it. I've proved in numerous competitions on here that I'm nowhere near as good as some, so getting an irish side up there does kinda prove that the game is ridiculously easy. But, that's fine - it's only easy if you know what you're doing, and it's understandable that they make it accessible and fun. And Vibe is here for those who want to find another level.
