Great start, especially for someone so young. You'll be averaging 50 each soon enough I think.

The selling thing is a strange one, but I've seen it happen. Sometimes things just line up so that there aren't many buyers for the players. Not sure exactly what's behind it or when it happens. I think it's something to do with both club and player reputations and the leagues loaded combination.

Maybe the players are all overrated, but the game knows that and noone is willing to pay for players that are really more average than they seem. Or maybe it's the opposite and the player's reputation values are lower than they should be because they are playing in Portugal for eg, so noone wants them becasue they aren't quite famous enough. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knows...

I'm finding it ridiculously hard to sell players this year. Was easy to build a war-chest on last years version but I can't do so with any team on this. Frustrating, yes. But it's not just you, Sir.

Season 02

With the squad being built in stages any kind of success this season would be good and really set us off on our way.

I’m a fair bit ahead of season 2 now and my memories are a little scarce, so apologies if I mess anything up.

There were transfers aplenty. Isak is one of my favourite players on the game as he is not only good across the board, but he is versatile and reliable. I really like Soyuncu and Tah, and dragged in a lot of the best youngsters in the game. This was a transfer window that really benefitted the club.

Pipi managed a four goal haul during part of a dominant match. Everton is an incredible player and one I recommend to people.

After a group of death we progressed in the Champions Cup to actually end up winning it. A crazy final against Atletico went our way, bringing Europe’s greatest trophy back to Portugal. We won the other trophies and got to the finals you’d expect.

Pipi scored 42 and assisted 33. He is also developing quite nicely at this point, especially for an 18 year old.

Seasons 03 and 04

It became clear in season 3 that the quality of player we could attract was improving as Davies joined from Bayern. It is also the season that scouts start to find awesome regens, where my policy of signing anyone with a ‘potential to improve a lot in the future’ that is South American comes in to play.

We bombed out of the Champions Cup in the quarters, but maintained our high standard elsewhere.

There was a dip in goals for Pipi, whilst maintaining the exact same number of assists. However this was done in less games than season 2.

Season 4 was much the same. Trent, Ederson, and Haaland are three names that stick out as joining. 

We won the Champions Cup again, with Pipi really starting to look the business. 

20 in dribbling, passing, and movement. Shame his crossing and shooting are not great, especially for a scoring and assist challenge! His improvement helped him sink 54 goals and make 42 assists.
