Chat The best regens and youth academy players

Hello, I always wanted to make a thread the would be a couple pages long and interact with people who have helped me in this game. So I will be starting this thread with my best regens and youth academy players I come across in my saves. I hope you the reader to post your own regens and youth academy players that you find good or funny. I also would like to discuss what would be the best ways to train/develop these players to be the best. My first player I will post is a youth academy player I got today and he’s one of my best and most valuable one I got this year.

He looks decent, got good physicals too for his age! If it was me, id focus on the creativity & decisions, then move onto passing. Could turn into a quality playmaker, especially with high teamwork & technique already. 

Will grab some of the young guys ive got on my 1kc challenge later, some insane looking players coming through.

Yea thanks I’ve been lucky with academy players in this save I’ve got the Messi regen and he’s just silly good.

I’ve had some awesome ones this year, I’ll see if I can dig out soon, there on my careers somewhere 🤔

He looks brilliant, he should turn out great! Train him as a Treq I would first as it trains more things and then maybe train him as a BBM at some point as well so he becomes well rounded 😁

I’ve got the Messi regen unfortunately I didn’t screenshot what he originally looked like but this is what he currently looks like for me. The other player is why I believe may be lukakus regen.

I snapped up this kid for a meagre 10k after my scout said he had the potential to be ‘world class’.  Unfortunately didn’t get a screenshot of his original stats but pretty much everything was below 10. He’s now one of the best fullbacks in the game and has actually scored a higher yearly rating than TAA for 3 seasons in a row 😃

What a specimen. To bad his mentals aren’t the greatest and he’s inconsistent.

I can’t wait to see this kids stats in a couple of seasons. Already got several 15+ attributes, plus he’s currently only 1 star ability with 5 star potential 😳

I’ve started to notice that Spanish youth regens that cost very little are very good an example is this cb worth £500

Sometimes when they are so low valued, they may have a very low PA which means they won’t go anywhere near top class.

Unfortunately he has very bad professionalism so he might be one of the players I loan 2-3 times then sell for a ton of money

Little update on Rusterucci & Villoria. Akim has become even more of a beast. His stats have gone through the roof and he’s now a international with 11 goals in 33 games (as a defender!). France tend to play him as a central defender but I play him at RB as he’s an absolute assist machine.

Not looking as good with Manuel. His stats have barely improved, yet his rating has gone from 1 star to 3 and a half, with still another star of potential left to go. His consistency isn’t the best and he tends to make quite a few mistakes 😕

On the plus side though, I’ve recently gotten a great GK prospect through the academy. His stats are absolutely insane already and yet he’s only at 2 stars with 4 star potential. I think I’m looking at Charlie Setford’s replacement 😃
