Help Unsettled Players

Can anyone suggest ways to help unsettled players settle in apart from bringing in their favourite people.

I've had some success in getting them mentored by an older pro at the club, but that only work if they're younger.
 

I know it used to be a case of getting someone of the same nationality so they can talk in the same language. But not sure if that's a thing still...

I have seen a couple of positive cases like this, but only "coincidentally", not something I've done deliberately. I usually just go for time+success. And if they're still sulking, get rid.

Yeah I've had a few "unsettled" and "not wanting to learn the language" and eventually they come around. I've had a player "wanting to go to a bigger club for 2 seasons now", given that it's in my TTR save and I've just won everything for 2 years in a row...
