Help A Question about gameplay speed

If you have multiply leagues loaded in the game, for example 5, will it slow down the speed of my game a great deal?

i definitely feel the slow down when having 1 country loaded vs 4 countries, but this is not RTS so it really doesn't matter for this game, and the slow down only happens whenever i press the continue button (processing so many leagues/transfers/stuff), the match pitch speed is still normal
