Chat can defender be a machine goal

hey i wonder can a defender  score goal like the striker or midfielder,if it can you suggest a defender for me?

Sergio Ramos was definitely the best option, his freekicks and penalties are amazing. 

If you want someone young, then Kristoffer Ajer is probably the best option.

I had a Ramos regen once, he was very prolific in front of goal.

I think Virgil Van Dijk is the best. He scored 18 goals in one season for me. with the normal corner tactic

If your defender has really high aerial & movement, consider having them as your target man for corners. Have the corner taker aim for near post, and have your defender attack near post. You may also want to make sure you're attackers/other CB don't go near post too, so that they don't 'poach' any of his chances 😄

This corner tactic worked well for me.

Perhaps try training your defender in a more advanced position. For example, I got Niklas Stark on a decent amount of goal contributions after retraining him to am.

In last year's game, I retrained Todibo, Godfrey and Martinez as strikers and played the three of them together up front and did a Triple Threat challenge with them: 

Definitely possible to get some serious goals with defenders if you retrain them - but not everyone retrains well...

Yeah if you scroll through my careers, you’d find my career where I used Kris Ajer as striker and he did score somewhere around 70 or something iirc
