Career GRAP FC- My Philosophy

CHOOSING THE SQUAD

I chose GRAP FC because they are the smallest club to manage in Portugal in FMM21. The club was founded in the 1940's & has always been part of a wider sports centre, with football being a part of that - the club is Amateur though. My aim was to gain promotion & improve the club with my philosophy.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

On my 1st day, I asked the board to improve the Stadium & Facilities. The board declined improving the stadium which only holds 372 supporters. The board did improve the 1st team facilities which were adequate & are now average.

STAFF, FINANCES & TRAINING

The training regime was delegated to my Assistant manager Jose Pedro Teixeira. The finances are OK but we went over the wage budget by a lot improving the squad. The staff room is now filled up too but at a basic standard.

SQUAD

You can see below that we made many signings to improve the squad. We actually had to release all the original players as they were not good enough for this level. The players in were actually of a good standard for this level & very well priced.

TACTICS

I used my attacking Tiki Taka Tactic for this career. We actually played incredibly well with this tactic considering the squad overhaul. This said, results started well but got increasingly inconsistent during the season.

THE RESULTS

The result of the season was unexpected, unbelievable but GRAP FC have won promotion. The club scraped into the promotion stages during the season & pushed on to secure this achievement. The table does not lie though & the club was very average, neither excelling in Attack or defence.
