Help HELP my team isn't doing well in attack

Can anybody please help tell me what is wrong with my team?

I was doing great from my 1st till 3rd season but on my 4th season it went from great to decent

the situation is my team's attack is getting worse than the seasons before. as an example, my jadon sancho used to be scoring goals in most matches but somehow now he only scored 4 goals this season

also my shots are going around 10-20 shots but only 5-8 are on target but worse of all only 1-3 went in and became a goal

i am struggling on thinking about what to do please help me😭😭😭

Maybe try work into box if they’re having a lot of wasted shots. These could be shots from distance from players that shouldn’t be shooting from distance. You’ve also got expressive creative freedom and attacking mentality so your players are pretty gung ho and goal minded maybe when they should leaving that to your attackers. 
 

Try disciplined creative freedom. Even a more defensive mentality. You can have an attacking formation with defensive mentality and it just means your players will do their jobs better and not try to do everything. Defensive doesn’t mean fewer goals scored if you have good players, it means more organised and not as risk taking generally.

southampton are such a leaky team at the back

yes i did have that problem in my first season which is why i got rid of some players and then brought players like julian chabot, rhys williams and even joe gomez after he sturggled for first place in liverpool.(gomez got in this season while chabot on my 2nd season.)
i also went and bought karius at my 2nd season but this season it is fortified with onana joining as a trade with bednarek
moreover my defence were pretty solid but my attacks are not doing well so i hope i am able to change it up after struggling to score this season.
i think i might post my career after 5 season is up which is next season to give an update i guess?

been on southampton as manager over several games, i think the problem is the defense is incredibly slow (excluding Walker-Peters) so getting a more pacey defense is optimal
