Welcome back to my Devine career, he’s started off brilliantly for me, but let’s see how he does without international football!

Delighted with the business we have done, it’s pretty difficult in Holland as the league standards isn’t very high so you don’t get much money even when winning the champions league 3 previous years we still only get about 70m. Which in turn is also why Devine isn’t improving as much as he’s not in a top league!

Not too much to say here other than the fact we proper got FMM’d in the champions league, but we did win it 3 years on the bounce so can’t complain too much. I am going to try a new tactic I think may work next season, we’ll see 😂

He did score 5 in a couple of games but at our rivals he bags four!

So quite annoying really as he ends on 99 and he had a goal disallowed in the final game in the 94th minute 😂But yeah a good season, just wish his attributes would improve!

What a season mate! That Lazio game in the CL, I've seen games like that a few times and can be so frustrating! Devine is going along superbly though even if you are frustrated by his attributes not increasing too much yet.

Season 6

Hello and welcome back to this Devine career (getting bored now of writing that every time). So managed to get through a season yesterday/this morning, let’s see how he got on, he was one off a 100 last season, let’s see if he can get that magical 100.

To be honest I didn’t want to lose the players I did, but I wanted more wages to offer players big contracts, as I wasn’t getting much money each season and then after I sell these players I get £160m for the first time, so didnt actually need to sell. Loved the players I brought in though, Trent was not looking the guy he should be, attributes weren’t great but I wanted to train him as a CM.

Great season, which is expected, we are far superior than any other team, I do need to settle on one tactic though, I changed things throughout this season 🙈

Down to 7th best manager now because we won the champions league.

Alfie and The Devine Lads

So a huge drop off in numbers this season, he did have a three week injury but nothing big, no idea why his numbers dropped really as he had a lot of chances, his price has dropped massively as well. I now have a massively unhappy squad to boot because I enquired about a few players, I’m sure that will go by next season though 😂Not as big of an update this season as he prone annoyed me, I will hopefully settle back to a tactic next season.

So he’s pretty much half way now at the of 21, so I cannot complain really, I just want his attributes to improve a bit tbh.

Yeah very feustyinf games they are, gotta laugh though or id cry! Yeah he’s doing well, I just can imagine him doing better, he’s finally got “some potential to improve” again now, so 22nd birthday is when I’m hoping for the improvements. Thanks Smog.

Looking good, the changing of tactics probably didn't help his goal total.

If you've figured out what tactic your using it'll improve next season I've no doubt.

Settle on a tactic would ye?! Thats the only reason for a drop off, I feel. That many goals at the age of 21 is unreal though. Keep it up.

I’m never happy am I, I need to stick to something, I think he done my head in so much with his misses I couldn’t help change something, this season I’ll stick to what I ended up with towards the end of the season 🤞🏻

Yeah he’s still doing well, was just hoping he would have improved more by now, it’s something I enjoy about the game is development so it annoys me seeing decreases. Thanks Ian👍

Season 7

Welcome back to season 7, we had a bit of a blip last season and he didn’t live up to previous heights, let’s see how he got on this season.

Not much to say at this point really as I brought in mostly youngsters now. Kessie was now 30 and I couldn’t refuse 33m for him, he was a very good player though.

Probably our best season results wise, we didn’t lose a game for the first time in this career, our squad is now excellent though, but all that matters is how Alfie got on.

So he actually played a lot better considering his attributes had gone down (They want back to normal last game of the season) but injuries meant he didn’t play as much as we would like. I have finally settled on a tactic I think, but that came towards the end of the season, so let’s hope for a better season next year!

Let’s hope for a better season next year, I wouldn’t mind getting this done before he’s 30 so I can get on with another career I have in mind 😁

Shame about all the injuries. He's still so young so can probably afford a season like that and it won't affect him too much.

Here's hoping for a healthier season next time out and getting back to some massive numbers. 🤞

A frustrating season with those injuries. I hate those seasons where the player gets multiple injuries the most, would much prefer him to just get one really long injury and be done with it.

Still a very nice season though and he’s certainly well on course.

Yeah loads of niggly injuries are so annoying as you expect them to come once he’s had one. Thanks Ian 👍

Season 8

Hello and welcome back to this not so Devine career the last couple of years, surely things can’t go even more downhill can they? Well I’m here to prove you wrong 😂

So not many ins and outs this season. Oliver Skipp had been on loan for a couple of seasons with us and I fancied going one at the back this season so he was brought in at DM as was Etheridge who was also on loan with us last season, he was a very good player, so he would rotate with Skipp. 
 

I was gutted to see Dan James go but he wasn’t the same Dan James as I had used previously, wasn’t quite good enough anymore.

So a great season by winning most things but the goals went down quite a bit even though I was now playing 1 CB, no idea how that works, but I have a plan for next season, let’s hope it works though!

League Standards

So up to 6th now after starting really low, I believe 10th? Does anyone know if this affects how Alfie has developed? As the league standard isn’t that high? Maybe @Scratch?

So yeah, he’s not taking chances at all anymore, he gets an average of 8/9 shots a game and still can’t put them away anymore, it’s very weird and so frustrating, maybe the changes aren’t so clear anymore, I’ll keep going and trying though. Things aren’t always going to be awesome I guess. Doesn’t help that he’s literally a box to box midfielder to be honest, I don’t pick who to use very well 😂

I have now, but I did towards the end of the season and it did nothing, I change so much it’s my downfall as I always think I can so better but then forget my previous tactic 😂
