Who goes to WEMBLEY?

This month the Carabao cup semi-finals will decide which teams go to Wembley for the final.

Jan 5th - Kun’s Army vs DanEnglish 

• Kun is probably missing GK Schmeichel (injury) AND may be missing both Strikers as Lewandowski may be suspended for this game.
• Dan is missing both Messi AND Aguero (injuries) which probably means a start for Aubameyang up front.
• Their last league match ended 0-0. 
• Both teams have games in the league just 3 days before - so expect some rotation, tired legs + probably more injuries.

Jan 6th - Leeds City vs Sandwich Army

• Leeds have defensive concerns with both CB Bastoni AND Stones our injured, with the possibility of key creator Havertz passing a late fitness test.
• Manager-less Sandwich are missing main creator SMS (injury) AND star GK ‘the Don‘ needs a late fitness test to play. They also have 4 extra squad players out injured!
• Rumours are BOTH teams can achieve their season sponsorship (?) by winning the Carabao cup - Leeds need to win a cup, while Sandwuch need to qualify for Europe.
• Both teams have league games 4 days before.

Glory awaits.

• A lucky month - played 4 league games against (easier) non-Vibe teams. Next month will be harder.
• Both Messi + Aguero injured, not good during the ‘2 games per week’ fixture congestion in January.
• That fixture congestion gets worse as we’re through to the ECL knockout stages - with 5 wins in 6 group games.
• We now rely on Ronaldo to score, with 8 goals in 11 games so far.
• Kyle Walker’s 10 yellows + 4 reds so far continues to be ... er ... ‘impressive’.
• Messi’s talent continues to be wasted in a Poacher role, he can do + create so much more in an IF, Treq, AP, or DLF role.
• After a slow start, Di Maria is doing better + already played (I think) 14 times in 2 months for me!
• There is not one main creator - we have 7 players on 3-4 assists each.

Plus thankfully the squad players are doing well: Herrera (8.25 average rating), Alderweield (7.44), Lopez (7.20), backup left WB Ismally (7.15) + Aubameyang (7.11). Solid.

... But 9 goals + 0 assists in 17 matches isn’t ideal. That’s why there are two axis (or whatever the plural of axis is).

Plus if you want to play that game, Ronaldo has 11 goals + 4 assists in just 14 games (more than 1 goal contribution per game) plus an 8.00 average rating (Mwhahaha!). Though I can’t imagine he can keep it up for the next 5-10 years though 😞

It’s all about the team for me, he probably works his socks off like real life. Plus Bruno has 9 goals and 8 assists for me, so I’m not complaining about his 9 goals.
