Blue Box - this is the real difference between our teams. The top teams only conceded ~20 goals*, while 7-9th have conceded ~30 to 35 goals. That’s crazily impactful ... Question - does that mean it’s more effective to improve your defence, instead of your offence?

* Note - the only outlier is @Rich / Out on Bale, who are 3rd but have conceded 34! ...

Damn. Not good.

Pros:

• We’re in 3rd, just 1 point behind the leaders, with better goal difference.
• 4 of my 5 games are against non-Vibe teams (but 3 are away from home)

Cons:

• Leaders @Rich / Bale won EVERY GAME last month AND get their injury/morale heal bonus. Urgh.
• No Messi, no Aguero - am relying on Ronaldo + in the Poacher role either Muller or Aubameyang?!
• My 5th remaining game is against @geordiekrispy / Blue Star, who smashed me 3-0 previously (but Ramos got an early red card!)
• Damn - we are STILL in Europe - even if Titjes heals any Euro injuries, the players will still be tired / lower % condition
• If @d e m a r a i / DAMWON wins his game in hand, then we’re only 2 points from 8th place + out of the Europa league places for next year!

Cant believe how tight this is.

Final Month League

Surely this is @Rich / Out on Bale’s to lose?! They are clear favourites:

• Currently top of the league by 1 point.
• Have activated their injury + morale bonus.
• Only play 2 Vibe teams in their last 5 games (both at home), everyone else plays +3 Vibe teams (except one)!
• No ECL semi finals to worry about.
• They won EVERY GAME last month, if that repeats then they uncatchable.
• Will @Rich‘s team bottle it?!

Way down the odds are the dark horses / outside bet to win: DanEnglish FC

• Currently 3rd in the league, just 1 point behind the leaders but with better goal difference.
• Uniquely, only plays ONE Vibe team, with the other 4 against bottom half non-Vibe clubs (but are mostly away).
• However they’re missing Messi, Aguero, and distracted by Europe.

Everyone else plays 3+ games against Vibe teams, of which 1-2 are away.  

Key Stats:

The above shows why Out on Bale (and to a lesser extent myself) have a slight advantage in the final month - as have fewer games vs top-half Vibe teams, and more games vs bottom-half non-Vibe teams.

 

And the above shows the average points / game for each team (vs other Vibe teams only). Yung Kings has the worst record against Vibe teams, while DAMWON has the best record vs Vibe teams so far!

As an example, I would expect @d e m a r a iDAMWON to win both of his final month's home games vs Vibe teams (vs Vice City + vs Leeds City), and probably get a point away from home (vs Yung Kings).
