My team has a big problem.

What? Salah is playing upfront as a TM (instead of Lukaku). This means (1) Lukaku sits on the bench, (2) Wijnaldum is playing AMR, not MC, + (3) Herrera is playing as a starter MC!

Urgh. This probably means Salah’s in-game CA is higher than Lukaku’s, so he gets the central ST spot, even though he’s a worse TM than Lukaku. The aim was Lukaku as the TM, with both Salah + Neymar as IFs (which they’re perfect for).

Why is this terrible? Because we may smash the non-Vibe teams, but it’s the Vibe teams who we need to beat. A loss (Away) + a draw (Home) vs Vibe teams doesn’t look promising.

Evidence / Proof - in my (single player challenge) save, when Mbappe replaced Lukaku as the TM upfront, our team goals scored + league points both went down 😞 

So ... I’m downgrading my hopes for this final season already. Lucky to get top 4? Probably get Europa League places. Argh!

 

Edit - unless Lukaku was injured for a few games that including the last one - unlikely but possible. Then I’d be ok.

Lets leave it. Hopefully I don’t need to change manager again, but best to save up now just in case!

You’ve got +27m according to Titjes’ first update this season (above). It only costs 15m to both fire + hire a new manager - so (unless you have extra transfer payments due) - yes it seems you have the money.

Thankfully they got knocked out of the World Club Championship, otherwise @Rich  would have won 3 trophies before most of us had won 3 competitive games this season!
