Chat Wide midfielders

Hello!! i have a question. when playing a wide midfielder, what is the best role to play as my striker and midfielders..?finding it hard to get assists with them thus far

I find widemidfielders work well when having 3 cm's to spread out the play. Widemidfielders tend to hug the line more so essentially they play wide so you would need midfield cover.

Thats just what ive experienced though and others may have seen differently.

Ive been playing FM since Championship manager 04 days when veron was a beast!!! and never thought it possible to get 100 goals a season, especially in tougher leagues. will make a tactic now to see if i can meet that target. love scoring loads of goals with striker and watch his value sky rocket!!

My biggest tip is too keep it simple, two CM’s with an AP in no 10 role and two wide midfielders work really well for the midfield in my experience.
