Season 2

Hello and welcome back to this career, it’s been a while, life has got in the way. But I managed to get season 2 done a while ago, just haven’t had the time to post it.

Transfers

Brought some brilliant players in now and some great youngsters which leave us in very good stead for this season, our first and second teams are now brilliant. I look for certain attributes in each position and now I’ve got that mostly. So should be a good season.

Plenty of goals this season, which I really enjoyed, but was Greenwood involved in many? I did surpisngly change things this season but it was for sure for the better and I finally have a tactic where I don’t think I need to change anything.

The average goals is back to where I loved FMM with my goal bonanza, not quite using that tactic but scoring just about as much.

Mason Greenwood

So a huge season for my boy, he’s got all the attributes needed already, to have 18 shooting is huge, but crossing at 15 is great now as I have a good corner tactic which gets quite a few assists in its self. It’s just keeping him doing this and no injuries this season like last year.

Score

Season 1 - P 43 G 39 A 31

Season 2 - P 61 G 69 A 46

Total - P 104 G 108 A 77

Those are some immense transfer window there but 69 goals and 46 assists are not enough to reach your target in 5 seasons.

Amazing what a season with no injuries or small injuries can do. Really shows what a player can do. Brilliant stuff

I would say you're playing him as a SS? and not a T? The amount of goals compared to assists suggests that to me.

I'm currently getting similar goals to assists ratio on mine. Rather than getting more of one or the other.

It’s actually as a Treq, I haven’t used any with shooting as good as Greenwood in that role before and it’s definitely paying off, he’s actually gone up to 20 shooting now so I’m hoping it carries on. He’s such a great player, best player I’ve used in a challenge for a long while

That's interesting. I had amazing success with a SS as you know but I never tried it supporting a striker or two.

I'm still not convinced on my tactic but it's yielding decent results so far I'm scared to change anything incase it decreases current output.

I feel like the proper response (if I was staying in character as a "tactics please" guy) would be something like "Tactics".

But I actually don't want to see your tactics, as that would just make me go and tweak mine again, just when I think I'm over that phase (for now)...

Oh, yeah, "Tactics now!" - of course...

Actually I over tweaking for the moment because I could get very similar numbers with about 4 or 5 different approaches - makes me feel like it's not worth the effort! But I'm sure I'll be tweaking again soon...

I remember the days of FMM 20 where I genuinely didn’t have to tweak at all, this year has been a nightmare for me with tweaking, I think I’ve actually finally figured out a tactic now for Greenwood which doesn’t need tweaking, unless things stop working of course!
