Chat FMM22 General Discussion - Winter Update Out Now

I am assuming that when you get your son, it's just randomly generated? 

Just got my first one on FMM22 and have saved my game the day before its generated to see if it varies. Out of maybe half a dozen restarts, I've never seen more than 1 star potential and always in the same position.

Not sure about the position as I've seen a fair bit of variety in different saves, but last time I checked (about 3 years ago now), your son has the same PA every time - something like 147 from memory, which is equivalent to 4 stars in the Editor. If you have a really strong team, your staff will probably report him as 1 star or something low.

Why am I not getting loan offers ? I’m the coach of Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany and it’s currently 2027. I qualified for ucl for the third time and have a squad that might be able to finally win a trophy. My reserves are full of wonderkids ( literally full). In other saves clubs are fighting to loan out my wonderkids and I usually have them loaned out before august. But in this save I don’t receive any loan offers. The past seasons I have been loaning them to my affiliate clubs ( German clubs in the 2. and 3. division). But why can’t I get normal loan offers and maybe loan them to different teams where they can play more. They are all loan listed and offered out for Loan, but I haven’t gotten a single loan offer. I would save some salary if I would loan them to clubs other than my affiliates and it would save me quit some time. Does anyone have a solution to this ? Thanks in advance

I think Germany uses the B Team / Second Team system instead of the Reserves system (that the EPL uses for eg).

You can tell which one is being used when you press the Club menu option in the left hand menu - it will either say Second Team or Reserves (below the First Team entry). Assuming you are playing in English of course, not sure what it will say in other languages.

The bad news if you are using the Second Team system is that you almost never get loan offers for players in your second team and the only way around this seems to be to promote them to the First Team and then offer them out. Which works if your first team squad isn't too big, but obviously isn't ideal...

It’s says „Reserve“ in German which obviously means reserve in English. After turning the language to English it says second team. So that makes sense. I also remember that I got a loan offer like two seasons ago shortly after I promoted a youth player into the first team without removing him from the loan list. So getting loan offers for players from the second team in Germany is broken…

Yeah, seems to be broke for any team using the Second Team system. It's been reported to SI Games a couple of times at least, but whether they fix it for next year is anyone's guess. I understand the difference as an A will hold position just in front of the defenders regardless of attacking movement. A BWM with move out of position to challenge ball carriers in some cases.

The preset gegenpress uses a BWM. 

I’ve personally always had much more success with an A. The defense has always been more compact and I’ve conceded less.

The game should automatically update but if not you can do it in the AppStore. You will know you have updated as if you start a new career you will have the choice of starting with the winter update database.

Got a new phone (Samsung A52 S) and the game won't function on it.

I can get to the main menu but clicking on settings, or new game just sees the buttons you press light up but nothing happens. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same. It scans the device for performance fine but I cant do anything else.

Any ideas anyone?

Can now access more and get as far as Manager Name, but can't type one in which is a ridiculous problem to have 🤣

Try closing all apps and clean your phone from junk, residues, cache etc, then open FMM. 

 

If it still didn't work, try installing different keyboard.

I think I've fixed it with Gboard. That's what I was using on my previous phone.

I dunno, he sounds like the guy who gets the actual pornstars ready by applying the lhuber to ... them. I'd question his Decisions being that high given that, but each to their own I guess. technique could be higher but at least he's not too aggressive.

I still try to make some results with some OP tactics mentioned here,but it doesnt work well 😀 once when it work as on screenshots posted,ill move to fmm 23
