Help Score issue for tactic subject

This is my tactic. I am satisfied with the ball possession rate and understanding of the game, but the score is not what I want. In the first season, I scored 55 goals in the league and became the champion. We were also good in defense, we played with pressure. However, the score issue is not satisfactory. What do you recommend ?

Others are far more qualified than me but I have a tactic with the same shape and I use an Overload mentality. I think your Wing Backs will commit to the attacks more. Maybe worth a short trial to see if it does what you want?

I would suggest to remove narrow width that does not work well with look for overlap. 

Other suggestions depend also on the players you have. But in general I would try to use more offensive roles with a control based strategy. As example

DM-->DLP

PF-->AF

AP(right wing) --> IW or IF

I heavily used 4-1-2-2-1 in my careers  with very good results. But in general the main achievement of this architecture is more the high percentage of possession than the number of goals. 

A more goalful version I tested with Beijing with a lot of tehcnical players (attacking, fast tempo, mixed passing, run at defence, better return to a DM in the middle)

If you want to keep two AP in formation, my suggestion is to switch MC and AP, AP at MCR position, CM at MCL.

If need more players into box, you can change CM to BBM.

You have 2 APs that will look for gaps in between the midfield and defense. If you look at the player ratings I bet they are canceling each other out. Maybe turn the MC to a RP. Also, looking for overlaps happen automatically if the AML and AMR turn in field.

Lastly, your APs are up the field with only 2 others to get them the ball. That's going to make it tough. Could change the DM to a BWM. But the players need to have the stats to match that role.
