It's not just about tactics, there are many other things you need to do and yet these results are not guaranteed. More than 70-80 goals per season is impossible for me, as well as one striker to play all possible matches. How these guys achieve 120-140 per season I do not know.

With a lot of these long term challenges it's also about having the best players in the world in your team and dominating a league, the tactics are rarely plug and play.

Even if you take the best players, dominate the league, your team has the perfect balance of more than 80 goals, at least for me it doesn't work.

Don’t want to hijack this thread but there are some useful posts from previous years about solo striker/1k tactics to channel most of your goals through your one guy. 80 is a great haul but how many do the rest of your team score combined?

Everything depends on your team setup, and how you vision them to play. From wing backs, to midfield and wingers, even your set piece deliveries have to be on point.  scoring goals is easy, but channeling your players to focus on delivering the ball to your striker is kinda hard, it takes days, sometimes weeks to get the right tactics. Before I started this I actually took some time to test different teams and tactics, I found what works for me and maybe I'll share it at the end of this challenge. Greenwood gets about 90% of the team goals.

I have tried with many teams, with many tactics, with the best players even with an editor and more than 80 goals is impossible for me. There is no setting in the game that makes players pass only to the striker, at least I do not know about it, you do not know where you find it

No but you can see what kind of player does what. Eg CB will pass to wingbacks who will pass to wingers or cross if you have the right settings. Whereas BPD will usually go through the middle where it’s more congested. Roles have their own preferences so it’s about finding the right combo so get it to the big guy on a platter. Also. Don’t go too attacking. It sounds counterintuitive but with attacking mentality other players will want to shoot. With balanced it even defensive, they’ll pass. Your team may score fewer goals overall but your striker will score more. Small tweaks can make a huge difference.

I'm just here to show my complete admiration of what you're doing here. Simply amazing! I've always liked Greenwood but I don't think I could get anything like the numbers you're getting. Any chance of a 2k?
