Career Kyle’s LWTTT (Season 6)

Sooooo, I didn’t really do a career mode last year for some unknown reason. I decided to start the his FM in the best way I know… long way to the top! So here goes

Season 1:
 

So applying for jobs at the start like you, but I wanted to add some realism, and decided to only go for jobs that were somewhat local to myself, and I honestly couldn’t believe my luck when this job came up…

 

When York job came up there were sat at top of league with a 9 point lead, so all I had to do was not cock it up, but surely that would easy right?! 
 

However, I wanted to influence York with my style of play a 4-1-2-2-1, tikka takka style… Something like a Pep or Klopp does 

 

We won the league fairly comfortably… well… sort of… We went through a rocky spell, but ended up finishing with 10 points ahead

Season 2: 

I forgot fun and addictive this game is to be honest. I seem to be flying through seasons at the moment.

I honestly couldn’t believe it. We was scraping against Wrexham and we ended up bottling winning the league, but they finished on 110 points. 
 

The semi final play off stressed me out because of penalties 😂

Season 3:

So, after season two I thought this going to be either easy to get promoted or or I’m going to finish mid table. It’s what happens to teams in real life when they come up to the footballing league. 
 

I think I’ve found my style and philosophy. I’m like a reserve Pep Guardiloa, play nice attacking football, but spend literally nothing or little as possible.

You’ll probably see the same names come in then leave… and well, that’s my own dumbass fault for setting release clauses too low -.-

Seems like when I’m pushing for the title there is just another team that runs away with it

I got to the third round of the FA cup and first round of the Carabao cup… nothing special. 
 

Papa Johns Trophy:

Well, first time I’m appearing in this competition as a manager, and I thought if I make it out the group stages I will be happy, but we did that so I took it game by game…

Season 4: 

So after back to back to back promotion surely something would slow my team down, and personally I think it’s the board that are holding the team back, because they’re not willing to improve training facilities.

Well, we struggled in the cups, but I think that might be because squad depth or the lack of quality back up players.

Season 5:

So after missing out on promotion last season, would we be able to succeed the second time? 

League and Cups:

So we managed to secure promotion at the second time of asking, but we couldn’t win the league because West Brom were too strong.

 

We had a decent cup run in the FA cup, but only to get knocked out by Man Utd

Season 6:

So after gaining promotion to the championship, I set my sights to finish mid table since we barely got any money and there wasn’t any good freebies. However, we managed to get to the play offs…

 

League:

Well, this may have been the more stressful season I’ve ever played on FMM. We was literally challenging Millwall to the last three games and we played them… and lost, which meant we’d go on to lose the next two games. However, we have the play offs and I fancy our chances. How wrong I was.

We got knocked out the cups pretty early so nothing mention here
