Help Transfer budget not affected by CL participation

Recommended Posts

Hey peeps!

I'm in my 3rd season with Warrenpoint Town. In my 2nd season I successfully qualified for the Champions League Group stage. Now that my 3rd season begins I was hoping my transfer budget would skyrocket. But computer says no. It stagnated instead. I'm playing fmm since the 2019 version and never experienced something like this. Not sure if it is a bug?

This happens in many smaller leagues. Last year I won the CL with a northern Irish team and got a budget of 800k the next year. In Poland I was getting zero transfer budget after winning 5 consecutive CLs. It's weird.

What’s the size of your stadium? It could probably be that.

Still at stock size, 4000 visitors. Is there a limit that would make a difference?

What? Lol. I'll keep on trying. There must be a way.

Similar to your Poland career, I had the same issue in the Danish league where I was winning the CL but my transfer budget was still small. Eventually it grew to $200 million once the Danish league reputation increased to 4 stars, so I think league reputation is a big factor. I started loaning free transfers and quality young Danish players I developed (but not good enough for my first team) out to all my affiliated teams in the Danish second division and pumped all kinds of talent into the league. Now we have 6 clubs in European competition!
