Chat Scottish Premiership - Breaking Old Firm Dominance?

With the Glasgow teams dominating the league - and the odd cup - I’m working on various tactics to break them. Ive had success of defeating either of them once or twice in a season - when a successful tactic works (for a short time) it always ends up with an ass whipping in the next match with them. If I “overload” for front line - the game does tend to fall in my favour but only for the next match (vs Cel/Ran) its “spanking” time. 

In the first season, I’ve always aimed for 2nd place with the hope of building on and win the SPL in the 2nd season. 

Has anyone had any success of breaking them?

P.S - I’m managing Hibs - always get loan players in for midfield. Cadden/Scott can be a gems, with Doig, Porteous, Boyle and Nisbet.
