Career Bangor F.C-My Philosophy

CHOOSING THE CLUB

I chose Bangor F.C at random from the Northern Ireland 2nd Division. The club was founded in 1918 & are called "the seasiders", playing in gold & blue. I want to take this club to the top of N.Irish Football.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

Bangor F.C have a good infrastructure for a club of their standing. Their 1st Team & youth facilities are adequate. The clubs stadium holds over 2,700 supporters.

STAFF,FINANCES & TRAINING

Training System was delegated over to the Assistant Manager. Finances are only OK as I went over the budget improving the squad. The staff room is full & trained at a basic level.

SQUAD

As you can see, many changes were made in & out of the club. Every original player was released except CD Arthur. The rest of our squad were bought in for free or minimal money.

TACTICS

I used my Attacking Tiki-Taka for this career as it has been proven to be successful. The tactic worked very well statistically but never really gelled too well over the season, never felt comfortable. That said, you can see below we had one of the best defences & attacks in the league.

THE RESULTS

The result of my 1st season in charge of Bangor F.C was sucessful wining the league!🥳 We won 62% of the games given to us. We had the best defence in our league & 2nd best attack. Hopefully next year we can build on this & become the best team in N.Ireland soon 🤞.

UPDATE - SEASON 2022-24

Since my post earlier, we have played a few more seasons. In my 2nd season with Bangor F.C, We won the N.Ireland Championship!🥳. The league was highly competitive & we literally only won in the final match of the season, Dungannon Swift's had a great season too.

In the following season in the N.Irish Premiership, we had an incredible season, winning the Treble. We had a budget of £167k which was a sizeable chunk for a club in this country. Our squad was absolutely incredible & we actually won the league title by 20 points!😲🥳 The cherry on top was winning the Country Antrim Shield & the Irish Cup! My mission here is accomplished but loved my time with Bangor F.C.
