Tactics 4-1-2-2-1 A Pack of Wolves

First forgive my English, because it isn't my 1st language.

Been playing FMM since 2019 and always try a new tactics from here and couple others sites. Since FMM2020, Wolves always fun to manage because of their relative young squad and have so many great young talent from Portugal.

And this is my tactic that bring that so many success with Wolves in Premier League.

1st season: (I bought Zakaria as backup for Dendoncker, Nico Williams and Adrian Corral for the future with low release clause).

2nd season: (I bought Vlachodimos to be my 1st GK, Belotti as I can get him for free in 2nd season, Angelo, Agustin Alvarez and Thierry Small for the future)

3rd season:

Out: Semedo and Jonny to Liverpool (why they want my 2 RB?), Jimenez (as his stats getting weaker)

In: Saliba (Coady cover), Vagnoman (2nd choice RB after Hoever), Ramsdale (cover for Vlachodimos)

4th Season:

In: got 200m++ transfer budge (go crazy) Haaland, Pavlovic (backup for Corral), Rovella

Out: Belotti, Zakaria, and others

I think my formation need pacy players for all of the position and a lot crossing from my wingback. As you can see in my 4th season Corral got 20goals per season just from corner and freekick (i change my corner and freekick setup in 4th season). For RP you need a player with good creativity, pass and stamina.

Was it easy enough meeting Haaland’s wage demands this time?  In previous versions the Wolves board would never allow me to offer him more than 200-250 per week which was never enough for him.

for my 4th season, I got around 200m transfer fund and 171m goes to Haaland, so I tinker a bit in financial, drop my transfer fund to 175m, so i got more room to give him salary 275k per week.

Train the players, just like their position roles and keep it to medium as EPL has so many matches per year, so I want to keep my players away from getting injured.

Did use the corner setup where you aim at the penalty spot with one CD marking the keeper

After switching to early crosses

this is a tactic that in fmm23 deserves more attention. I suggest it for the users that are still looking for a decent tactic.

Considering the well-known problem of the IFs that are not "inside", I tried the tactic in Serie C with some tweaks, for half a season (last update).

Compared to the original tactic, I changed both IF to IW. for the attacker, I alternated "Pressing Forward" with "Advance Forward". For unknown reasons, sometimes one seems better, other times the other. It's not a matter of opponents' modules, it probably depends on my players' abilities (both main forward and sub are better suited to "Target Forward", a role I don't particularly appreciate).

However, the tactic with the modifications turned out to be very solid, I suffered very little from the opponent's play and I have conceded only 7 goals in 19 games, scoring 39 (3 draws and one defeat, 15 wins, almost always more ball possession and number of shoots).

Thee game is very engaging, I sent almost the whole team to score, the only one struggling is the forward with 5 goals (for this reason I believe that, perhaps, "Pressing forward" is better, it involves the teammates better in the squad play).

The full-backs and the inverted wings score thanks to overlaps and cuts inside, the defenders on the usual corner tips (one marking keeper, one on second, corner on penalty spot; the other, what you want) and, above all, the RP. My best scorer is my best RP with 9 goals, at least 4-5 from shots from outside, despite a value of 7 in "shooting"

another aspect of this tactic is that it allows you to get wins or draws even in matches away against better opponents. 

Now, I'm trying another tactic the seems to be powered by the update (Flawless victory, it's in download section), despite it's based on other kind of play (overload) it seems very solid and effective too (and the forward is the top scorer).

Both the tactics need players with good level of technique and movement for IW/RP and  AP/CF/W.
