CHOOSING THE CAREER

I chose to Paris Saint-Germain F.C from the French League. They play in a beautiful capital, are France's most decorated club & have a dream team due to their insane wealth. I wanted to try my hand with one of the worlds global football powers.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

As to be expected from such a wealthy club, they hold state of the art infrastructure. Both youth & 1st team facilities are both superb. The stadium only holds 47,000 supporters but looks sublime, I mean, look at the below image!

STAFF, FINANCES & TRAINING

Training was delegated to Assistant Manager Jesus Perez. The Finances of the club are understandably in a very healthy state even after £204m spending! The staff room is filled with expert coaches who are top of their profession.

SQUAD

Despite the transfers seen below, PSG had such a good squad I did not really need to make any signings. This said, the 12x signings I did make were meant to improve upon our current squad. I had a real struggle making decisions on players to leave as quality wise, the squad was incredible! However, there were those players who either were too young, too old or not quite good enough that left the club. Going against my usual philosophy, I did keep players like Messi, Di Maria, Icardi, Ramos etc at the club as despite their age they could all easily be Ballon D'or players & we would need their talent.

TACTIC

I used my Attacking Tiki-Taka Tactic for this career. The system worked perfectly, with 125 goals scored & only 18 goals conceeded. The system also led to 36 games without defeat!

THE RESULT

The season was understandably very successful for Paris Saint-Germain F.C. We won the Ligue 1, Trophee des champions & Coupe De France🥳🥳. We won the Ligue 1 as INVINCIBLES, not losing a single match all season & only drawing 3x games!😲🥳 We end the season with the best attack & defence in the league by a mile & a 85% win rate which is better than Pep Guardiola! The low point of the season was going out in the quater finals of the UEFA champions league to Liverpool, especially after beating Bayern Munich previously.

In what world are you getting Goretzka for £30m, Renato Sanches for £10m and Hans Hateboer for free in the first season?

Part exchange shows up as p/ex in the transfer screen, and there’s no evidence of you sending any players to those teams in exchange..?

Goretzka is undervalued by Bayern. He's much cheaper than Kimmich. If you increase the percentage of next sale it could be possible to get him for 30m

I just started a new game as PSG, and used as many negotiation tactics as possible, bid multiple times, the lowest offer I can get them to accept - even with 50% sell-on - is £52m. I just don't see how it's possible to purchase one of the best midfielders on the game, rated at £43m, for 2/3 of his market value.

Next sale percentage and player exchange can make it happen but it has to be a good player that you're exchanging.

That is an excellent effort, but you're either misunderstanding, or being deliberately obtuse.

There is no p/ex for Goretzka. So yes, you've managed to get them to accept £30m for him, but you've also given them 1 player who is worth in the region of £18-20m at the start of the game, which puts you in the ballpark of the figure that I was getting them to accept - £52m

I understand the difference but I was simply saying that it is possible to get him for 30mil. But I'll see what I can do without player exchange.

Also, if you check my post history, I'm anything but deliberately obtuse.

I also just noticed that the OP sold keylor Navas for 2.9mil. That seems very low. Granted he's only valued at 10.25

There's definitely a difference between buying at extremely low prices and selling at extremely low prices, because one you have absolute control over. That said, I definitely wouldn't be the one getting rid of Navas for a quarter of his market value!

I've also noticed that the AI changes their prices based on how much you have in a transfer budget.
