I think the control is more logical.Even though the offensive line is very good, a click of the defense can create a problem.

Safe to say, this tactic works in lower leagues too!

I’ve been using Balanced, and made sure I had 2 players in every position with the stated stats above 10.

Had to replace a number of players due to age this season. Much harder, and didn’t start too well. But once the players started to get partnership links, I started to win a lot of games.

The only time we were top of the league was on the last day, but we made it up!

Still on Balanced, same idea for recruitment.

I’ve already done next season’s transfers - this time I could raise the required stats to 11 when searching for players.

Let’s see how we do…

PS this tactic seems to score a LOT of 1’ or 2’ goals. Must be about 15-20 for the season.

They begin to form as players play together more. It helps having a few mentoring partnerships too but I don't have loads (just the ones my assistant recommends).

I try to make sure I have a first xi and a backup for each position, and rotate for fitness, but not too much rotation. I also make sure players always play in the same place as much as possible, like the DCL or MCL is always a DCL or MCL, they don't ever play DCR or MCR. Helps lower the number of players they'll play next to so partnerships form quicker.

Also seems to help having a high teamwork stat, and getting rid of unhappy players or disruptive influences.

Note 2: Whichever team you choose,you may find it difficult in the first matches because the players' relationships are not strong and they are not used to the tactic.Do not give up.Talk to your players often and focus on winning the matches.

Note 3: Since we do not use full back players and we only use 2 defenders in the centre,the defenders must be FAST!..Also,pay attention to the tackling,aerial,power and passing characteristics.Otherwise,your players will have difficulty in catching up with the opponent's wing players and you may see many positions in your goal.This includes the Anchor Man player.

Note 4: Pay great attention to the features of the Center Midfields such as Passing,Team Play,Tackling,Positioning.But the most important thing for me is Movement! You ask why?
Because as far as I have observed,there are two midfielders on the tactical board and if we want to play a passing game we have to assign the central midfielder task.Other roles are not suitable.There are people who usually choose box to box midfielders, but bux to box players can not create a good pass option because they go too far in attack.Central midfielders are in a position to receive a pass in any position.

Note 5: Creativity,Passing,Shooting, Decisions,Movement features of the Attacking Playmaker and Deep Lying Forward are very important.Don't be fooled by their support role.They shoot a lot every match.They often enter positions.It's a bit difficult to find an Deep Lying Forward.But he still says it.There are benefits.Tadic,Darwin Nunez and Odsonne Edouard are the most important players for this role.The Deep Lying Forward always gives you the option to pass and creates opportunities.They are the most enjoyable forwards to watch.But they have to have a good finisher by their side.

Note 6: I don't need to specify an extra note for Poacher and Wing Forwards.But give importance to TeamPlay and Decisions for the whole team.In whatever role the players are in,run their training accordingly.

Now I can start sharing career summaries according to mentalities.

1-ATHLETİC BİLBAO(BALANCED)

Frankly,this was the career that I had the most difficulty with.Because Bilbao is a club I respect and therefore I remained loyal to their Club Culture and only transferred players of Basque origin.Unfortunately,I could not find players at the level I wanted except Merino.Also,Unai Simon and Iker Muniain always gave me difficulties.Still,I managed to win the league and the Spanish Cup.Also,the thing that interested me the most in this tactic was:Regardless of the team mentality,I was able to shoot at least 10 shots in every match and easily enter the clear goal positions.

2-EVERTON(CONTROL)

The team that I enjoyed the most and surprised me the most was Everton.Because I won a championship and a cup very easily in the most difficult league of the game.I also crushed my opponents in a very superior and dominant way.And even though I have the control mentality,it was very interesting to finish the season with 3.10 gpg.

Example:Vlachodimos,Ederson,Onana,Ters Stegen,Farinez,Bursik,Green,Altay etc. Fast and good or have a good potential

In league i win everything 100 + goals with ajax and rangers. But in champion league i lost all games 3 seasons (. With ajax and with rangers too. In group stage they smashed me.

I have good team not best but good. Changed mentality to control then balanced but nothing changed (

Any tips what to do in champions league?

As far as I can see,you have a finishing problem in teams that are equal to you or a little stronger than you and I could not be sure of your goalkeeper.In the Champions League, the home team is more advantageous.You can try balanced/control away and attack/load in the home field.

Based on the players you have in attack for that game, you lacked finishing. Only Rahmani has 15 shooting. The others are around 12.

Eh, it's not too bad for a tactic. I tried it with Barcelona and won the league and cup. However, we did get knocked out of the Champions' League in the semifinals by Man City (despite having more shots both games, we lost both of them). We also narrowly missed out on being centurions due to a curious loss against Elche at the final day (another game in which we had more shots).

The goalscoring part of the tactic is fine, although I cannot replicate the high amount of goals scored by any of the strikers. Also, Dembele was a pain to deal with, and because I found it difficult to offload players, we had to make do with Depay and Griezmann up top, who both did okay, to be fair. Zapata was also a good signing we made in January.

Still, it is very frustrating to drop points or lose despite having more shots and dominating the game (this happened against Atletico Madrid, Man City and Elche). I am not sure how to avoid that either.

After playing around with this tactic a bit more, I found its two main problems:
1. Dominating a game but not winning

2. This tactic fails to break down 5-at-the-back (never managed to beat Atletico)

I stuck with this tactic for one more season, and this time it was much better. We scored less goals this time, but managed to go unbeaten in the league, despite drawing two of our first four games (understandably, this made me rather worried).

Transfers

From last season's experience, I knew that I desperately needed a class striker. Therefore, I signed Chiesa and Belotti on a Bosman, then got Isak with his release clause. After that, I tried to get a new defensive midfielder (because we only had Busquets and Kondogbia in the first season), in the form of Trevoh Chalobah. He did not settle in as well as I expected, and therefore I struck gold when Rodri fell out with Guardiola, and we snapped him up with a 55M deal. Finally, I felt that both Araujo and Kimpenbe lacked a little bit of pace, so I bought Gvardiol for Season Three.

Fixtures and Results

We won the League, the Super Cup, and the Champions' League. We did lose the Spanish Cup final in extra time, due to having to file a weaker team, as we needed extra time to beat Atletico at the quarter finals of the Champions' League (This also marks the first time we have beaten Atletico, in the first leg at home). Despite two early draws (which worried me a lot), we won the league rather comfortably, being unbeaten in the process. We scored 1 less goal this season (due to an apparent difficulty scoring away from home), but we generally dominated every game. Unfortunately, we are still yet to beat Atletico Madrid in the league.

Honours and Accolades

Araujo won top scorer in the league, and Isak also came close after a late charge towards the end of the season. Chiesa was great (and in general, better than Gnabry). and the original talent in Barca is coming together quite well by this stage.

However, sometimes we struggle to beat teams despite absolutely dominating. This example, in particular, occured during the early days of the season, and led me to doubt whether we would be able to win the league. We almost lost the game too.

Just to say this has been fantastic for me. Used now for 2 full seasons and I have won everything at least once.

Was previously using another very attacking formation and system which I think scored slightly more freely but also conceded far far more. The defence on this for me after a season or two has been night and day.

Hitting over 3gpg although now using the corner routine whereas before I wasn't, (so without, it's just under 3 goals) but I'm conceding less than 1pg where as before it would have been closer to 2 even with a very good team.

Most impressive thing for me, even more so than the goals against is the domination, i'd previously dominate the shots and goals but possession was at times limited. I've always enjoyed possession tactics but then get bored when you struggle to score so went for an ultra attacking set up which provided entertainment at the expense of feeling like Guardiola. This set up gives me both, masses of passes, 60% possession on average and enough shots and goals even from open play to keep me entertained.

Hardest thing for me in this formation is ignoring full backs when previously the inverted roles gave them so many assists. I've tried to re-train a couple, particularly one that has come from my youth system as I don't see me changing this.

Provides right balance of everything I want so cheers.

How do you approach the issue with finding a coach to run tactics for the reserves? It would seem impossible to find a coach that prefers an 2-1-2-3-2 formation.

I love this tactic. Used it for the last few seasons at Juve. Finally got myself a season without a loss (except club wc final before the season started - used the matches as friendlies to test my team). The goals spread amongst the players (had "2 teams" - switched the whole team every match). I got 95+ goals in league every season and conceded less than 25. Posting some pictures of my last season and the team i had. I prefer to have most if not all players under 26 or at least 28. So i changed my team every 2 seasons.
