DRAFT LEAGUE

Hi everyone and welcome to draft league.

It's a mix between Basketball (as we are working with a draft system) and Fantasy League Football (as there will be a limited budget to get your players).

 

 

LAST YEARS EDITION

 

 

 

SETUP

Starting Money = 1000M (average of 43M a player)

Players needed = 22

Currency = $ (U.S.)

Database = Original

Loaded Leagues = England, Spain, Germany, Italy & France

League that will be used = Premier League

 

 

SIGN-UP

First off all: Before you sign up...

Think really good about if you can commit and don't dissappear after the first update please

 

To sign up, just leave a team name for now

 

DRAFT

All manager will have a number (the first one to sign up will be nr 1 etc), I will use a randomiser each draft round to see in what order everyone will get their pick.

Wait until the person before you made his/her choice. As soon as the person posted his/her choice, the next one can post theirs.

Every manager will have a maximum of 24 hours to post their choice (doesn't mean you have to take 24 hours though)

 

Coaches/players/sponsorship will be selected through 8 “Draft Rounds”:

1. Manager

2. Sponsorship

3. ST + LW/LM + RW/RM + CAM/CM/CDM

4. CAM/CM/CDM + LB/LWB + RB/RWB + CD

5. ST + CAM/CM/CDM + CD + GK

6. LW/LM + RW/RM + CD + CAM/CM/CDM

7. CAM/CM/CDM + LB/LWB + RB/RWB

8. CAM/CM/CDM + CD + GK

 

 

EDITOR

I will use editor to do the following things:

– Upgrade facilities/reputation/stadiums etc to max for every club

- Transfer players between clubs

 

 

UPDATES

Updates will be monthly (will try and update on the 1st of every month).

 

 

EARNING BUDGET

Sponsorships with 2 targets and rewards:

– Monthly target & reward

– Season target & reward

- Sponsorships will last 1 season

 

 

RULES

– Will be 2-3-5 seasons long, depending on the activity of people who sign up

– Buy/Sell/Trade with player owned teams only

– No wage limit

– For a player to be picked in a draft round, he has to have a dark green (accomplished) shade for that position.

– If a player decides to retire, then you will be "forced" to buy a new player with whatever budget you have remaining (In this case a only a transfer from a non-player owned club is allowed).

– Player contracts will never expire.

– Player values may be a bit diffrent from save to save, but normally this ain’t so much. So start a save to check prices and prices will be double checked in my save (my prices will count though)

- In the first season only the league + domestic cups (FA & Carabao cup) will count. If players get injured during a non-domestic game, I will heal them with Editor.

- If anywhere during the event a player is injured when playing for their country, they will also be healed with Editor.

The @Titjes FMM21 Draft League was a lot of fun. I haven’t bought this years game yet, but may have to buy FMM22 just for this alone. Argh. I’ll sleep on it and reply back tomorrow.

In last year’s draft league, I started the 1st season with a front line of Messi, Ronaldo and Muller ... and finished the last season with Salah, Neymar and Lukaku! Lots of fun.

Hopefully we can continue the EPIC clash between two titans*, between good & evil*, between the underdog & the giant*, between myself and @Rich - who, unknown to either of us at the time, equalled each other’s season results almost identically throughout. [Spoiler: he won]
