I would think this is pretty unique. 

I am coaching Salford and after 3 consecutive promotions managed to finish 8th in the Premier League.

The succes is largely thanks to 2 world class regens I managed to sign.

Much to my own surprise, my main Striker is the Striker in the World Best XI dispite not even playing Continental games that season. 

 

Unfortunately, Sevilla triggered his 101m release clause so I lost him for my second PL season where I hope to push for European football.
