Tactics Knaps 4-4-2 (from FM21)

Hey guys,

Last year i converted Knaps 4-1-4-1 from PC to mobile...

Ive tried it this year but with his 4-4-2 from FM21

I have had good success in my first season in the Vanarama South with Dulwich Hamlet, winning the league and FA Trophy.....so i will continue to use this 442 to see how far it can take me

 

anyway here it is...

Pretty sure going on holiday on mobile renders the tactics irrelevant, not 100% on that though

like most tactics, it depends massively on the players you have, you need pacey wingers that have good crossing, decent aerial and movement stats for your strikers

as i got higher in the leagues i started to conceed more goals but i never had any problems scoring,

what team are you??

plus when in need of a goal,  change to attacking but that can leave you open to conceeding, also when leading with 10 mins to go, i would put it to defensive and turn time wasting on

I havnt tried it with a normal goalkeeper, give it a go and see what happens

i just used the original roles from the PC version of the tactic...

Good tactic. I love taca dada. 1st season i win Serie A and Uefa Conference League. I forgot to save the end season results.

However, the defense is quite weak. could be beat any time. I'll try change 2 CM to 1 DM BWM and 1 AMC AP.

yeah i wasnt happy with the defence side of it, maybe a few tweaks can fix that, most tweaks i tried didnt seem to work unfortunately

You only conceded 23 goals and I'd not exactly class that as leaky.

It's pretty good.

Surprisingly, this tactics works very well even with lower teams.

Numbers are not problem. NPC just needs a few chances, between 2 CDs and boom, we lost pionts.

Too many blanks between quadrilateral CM - CM - CD - CD.

That’s the weakness of 4-4-2 even in real life. The opponent plays 4-2-3-1 and you should be afraid. Though, looking at your numbers, don’t think you should be too concerned.

It's very difficult to win the Euro Champions League, where there are excellent strikers.  season 2 I met Benfica in the quarterfinals, I pressed opponent from begin and conceded 2 goals at the end of the game with a familiar scenario.  Anyway, I'm still happy because it's quite like real life.

Well, if you find that specific problem in the UCL, I suggest using 4-3-3 DM instead which theoretically the best well-known counter for 4-2-3-1.

sorry mate, but i didnt create the tactic, i just converted it from the PC version, i wish i could do more to help but im not a great tactic creator

i am atromitos just started career but before never really won kept getting sacked
