it's been a really successful season. I'm going to see if I can do it again next season. Onto season 4

 

Still struggling with set piece , what are yours set piece? , How about training ?

The corners have to be inswinging(left footer taking them on right side) and a player with 16+ aerial and good movement. It wont work all the time but most of the time it does work. When it comes to training, what exactly do you mean?

I mean did you train the players on the role that applies on the tactics ? , Or left  that default

I always train players according to the positions that apply to the tactic. If they cant retrain or they dont match, I sell them them on.

just finished my first season using this tactic. Started unemployed so havent done an enitre season but most of it, got some great results, kmocked out of the playofffs but got an FA trophy win.

Going to add more depth to my squad as some of those losses snd draws are because of a very small amount of quality players, aiming for automatic promotion. 

I also switched the winger onto the left side to suit my players, as long as the DLF is switched it still works just as well. Also changed ths BPD to a CD as they stepped out of defence too often leaving a massive hole. I found it more reliable with 2 CD's.

Can I ask what you do for marking, man to man or zonal? Mixed results with this so far

Zonal. After winning the league and ECL with Pisa and then Reading, I took over Scunthorpe, 2nd from bottom of League 2. 2 straight promotions (2nd place then winners) the Championship is a bit more of a challenge, but found switching to 'counter' and slow tempo for tough games seems to work
