Not really as it was a trial and error plus I didn’t want to create the norm tactic, something different, but I am all up for someone telling me they have tried it and got better success.

Depends on the player and the role they are playing, if you select manual training, the notes tell you what is best for each position

So I made some adjustments and picked a top team, Liverpool, so this might not work with lower teams as I have not tested it as yet, but please give it a try and give me some feedback on improvements maybe. 
 

So here is the formation now still using the 3 Roaming Midfield, and bringing back the 2 AM to midfield also.

and the outcome with Liverpool was…

Trying this one out with Salford. But could you elaborate what you mean with this? Where do you swap training throughout the season? 

And do you think your first or last tactic worked best? The one above.

Worked like a charm in L2 for Salford. Key is the right players as described by OP. L1 next.

Well done mate and thanks for sharing. By swapping training by letting each coach take the training for a few months at a time, so in Manager Options select a different head coach, this gives the players different training skills I have found.

As for success, I have found that both tactics have worked, the first you used as the slight better results with smaller teams, but either works with good teams really

@Cockers2505just wanted to report my current game using your original tactic.

Used with Liverpool from the start of the game. Brought Nunez and Sesko in the January transfer window, with Chiesa coming on a free when the window opens.

Won the league and both cups. Lost in the CL Final to Dortmund after 2 Red cards!

Thank you for the tactic, which ill continue to use. Next aim is some better RPs for the CM position, and trying to get some stamina increases!

Thanks for sharing this, i am using it currently with some lower league teams and got Good results with the right players, that is the key, once the right players fit the positions you should basically get good results, well done and good luck with the next season

The key is the players, the right players, most people i notice over the years think as long as the player has good stats they will simply be good enough, but without the right stats for those positions they won’t work as you want them to, so key is the right attributes for the role you want, let me know how you get on

Only brought Grillitsch in so far because he's always been a good RP in the deeper position when I've used him before. I thought the squad Sassuolo have would suit the tactic other than maybe the left side AP which is a current problem spot.

Things started off really well but then it fell of a cliff, but we'll see as I've only got to December so far;

Usual 11;

About to get £40m for Berardi so will try to add some more suited players. He wants out so I may as well try and turn it into a positive for the rest of the team.
