It is at the moment.

However don't know if you are having the same issues as me.

One mentality will work great until a certain point then it plateaus so I change.

Balanced worked great the 1st season and a half then I started to struggle to score for a couple of games so change it up.

No doubt I'll revert back to balanced sooner rather than later.

Another seasons rolls on by.

Not much to say about this season.

Started off strong but had my usual dip in form after Christmas. 

Thought I was definitely on for the 200 this year, not to be.

Finish on 184 goals (including international).

Broke the 2k this year so that keeps me going.

Starting to see a decline in physical stats already which is pretty alarming.

Is that just pure luck or am I doing something wrong.

Don't get me wrong, the silvers that have come through I have been developing over the past few seasons. Trying to being more and more into the first team to stop me wasting money on players I don't need.

I've included some of the current crop.

But my main question is. How the hell do you go about getting a gold rated youth player????

It's all relative - down to the quality of your team and the quality of players Belgium has to regen.

Obviously Belgium has some pretty good players and the KDB, Eden Hazard, Lukaku regens would likely always be gold rated. But some of the slightly lower ones (say Benteke) might be gold rated at the beginning of the save (in comparison to your pretty average Brugge starting squad), but after 14 seasons your squad will be filled with high PA players - so the regens may not seem gold rated at all in comparison. 

Takeaway: If you've built your squad to the point that no Belgium regen seems gold rated in comparison, you're on the right track! If you're still getting gold rated graduates at that stage, your squad is crap!

Season 15 done.

Half way through my career.

 

Probably the longest career I've played in this version, tend to get bored so good to have this challenge to aim for.

Bit of a mixed bag again this season.

 

Whilst he is aging his physical stats actually went back up but we did see a decline in his movement.

Managed to get him on a new 5 year contract, so we have him for at least another 5 years.

Plus managed to convince him not to retire at the end of contract, we'll see how that turns out when we get there.

However I'd like to think I might be finished by then, either that or he will be.

 

Tried to alter my tactics and roles again to get the most minutes out of him.

Nothing else to report really.

Won everything again and in the middle of Euros so expect to get a few more goals by the end of the tournament.

Useless prick has missed 3 pens already in the group stages 🙄

 

 

My goal counter seems to be broken.

Total for the season 160 (including int).

Total combined 2282/3000

Actually kinda makes sense what you're saying here.

So basically the fact that my squad is great I wont get many gold regens.

 

I have another save with Billericay, when I was coming up the divisions I was getting gold players all the time because my challenge was to win the champions league without spending any money.

 

Need to revisit that save once this one is hopefully complete

I've been playing with this formation for the last season and a half, but my players have been playing in similar positions with the same team mates for years now.

Can someone please explain why my front 4 are all connected but my back 4 are not?

Exact same distance between them.

This game boggles my mind sometime

As you are playing 1 at back, fmm never gets u lines cb to wb. GK never gets line with WB-s . The CB thing is just a bug. There is 1 position between them unfilled and that cancels a line. If u want those green lines, get 2 cb-s . It doesnt really matter also, as they are still playing okey. I got exact same thing with my wing playing PF-s.

I hear what you're saying but its the same as my 1 up top.

I'd understand it if that one didn't work as there is a gap missing (that you would fill with 2 strikers), so in reality it should be the same with having one at the back, right? must be a bug!!

Had the same problem myself when using PF on left and right wing, don't connect with the striker or the attacking midfielder.

Just don't see why they would introduce this to the game if it isn't constant.

Yeah, maybe the creators werent ready to apply to all our crazy tacticts that never should work ? Thats only explanation i can give.
