Looks like it’s only available on mobile devices other than the Switch if you have Apple Arcade though…

They're still separate games but Touch is going to Apple Arcade. It does state Touch will be on iPhone and iPad though. 

So yeah Touch is now on mobile, but it's not FM Mobile haha. What a way to divide the fan base even more, I guess it'll only be high end IPhones but I'd say this is the begining of the end for FMM (unless Apple are paying a fortune for this exclusivity).

Apple arcade? No way, why cant they just make it a paid app rather than this subscription model?

Considering it wasn't released this year and how it's an Apple Arcade exclusive (on mobile anyway) I'd have to guess Apple have had something to do with it.

Makes sense for Apple to pay good money to get it as an exclusive when you consider Arcade is £4.99pm so they can expect a fair few people to spend £60 over the year to be able to play Touch. Even if a lot of people cancel there sub at the end of the football season in May they will have made around £30 from people.

The worry for Mobile is has SI put all there resources for mobile versions of the game into Touch as they are getting paid well by Apple. In the end Touch will become Mobile over the next few years as devices get better I would imagine. This seems like a test as to whether they can convince people to spend £30-60 a year to play a Mobile version of the game.

Honestly i dont think this as a good business, touch will be much more expensive than the full fat pc version (if we subscribe arcade for the whole year until new version gets released)

Agree with pretty much all the sentiments above.

If they do end up ever stop developing FMM as we know it, I’d love for them to essentially settle on a version and then sell differing databases - I.e. the season with the Arsenal Invincibles, United 99, etc - and operate a DLC model. I’ve given up hope of them making FMM much better in itself.

I'd have tried the Switch version by now, the only reason I haven't is because there isn't a physical version 😂. If there was I know I'd of tried Touch by now haha. Even if they put previous years on a deep discount I'd be tempted to try it tbf. 

Otherwise I'm also Android so FMM will live on with me 💪.

Hmm, just seen that I get Arcade free with EE. May try Touch. I hope there will still be improvements to mobile though

Maybe now all the people who want more features and in depth experience will move to touch.
For the price you pay for FMM it has been good valve over the years

If they had made it available for all platforms, it would have been better but the whole android community got diddly squat

They announced Touch, but Android wasn't listed as one of the supported platforms, so the answer is No. I guess they may look at doing an Android version in future (ie 24 version maybe), but that's just a guess, they haven't said anything that I've seen.

Haha, yeah, no my app won't work on Touch... A) because it's Android only at this point, but B) totally different game and save file structure etc.
