Chat FMM23 - Bug List

I went into the January transfer window, and made three player exchange offers in the first week of the month. All were accepted (green) by the club. No notification or follow up. 

 

Come March 30th, all three clubs finally get back to me and I can offer a contract. 

 

This happening to anyone else?

I lost on penalties to Carlisle but got a point for the draw at full time…

Something is messing with coach medals, my game freeze after i got my bronze medal, i cant check my profile now

I think that’s how the competition works—both teams get a point for the draw and the winner on penalties gets an extra point.

I got a bug when using a saved selection that had players no longer at the club. Once I filled in the missing positions with players it wouldn’t let me go to the match.

It said something like “you must pick 11 players” even though I had.

Workaround is to clear the team and pick the team again.

Anyone’s UI not looking right? I play on iPad in colour blind mode and on most screens boxes aren’t showing properly. Example here. 

thought I’d turn colour blind mode off but still not right  

 

It was fine before yesterday and I can’t see any update. Any suggestions?

For anyone that has the issue where you cannot recruit staff due to not having the button - you can press in the bottom left corner of screen (highlighted yellow in screenshot) and you’ll be able to recruit:

Buy out loans not working 

have a preset buy out loan for Lazaro at turino for 4.7mill but whenever I try to buy inter up the offer to 9million wtf 🤬

Anyone else have the game crash when selecting Manager Profile from the side menu?

 

have tried in 3 saves and it crashes no matter what previous screen I am on. 
 

no issue on iPad, seems to be a problem for the iPhone (am using 12 pro)

I've had a similar issue with iPhone yeah, dont think it was necessarily on the manager profile for me but yeah crashes the entire phone, almost like the battery died.

I’m having the same issue but it’s June 24 2024.

I played the first season in FM23 with FCSB (Romanian First League) where the championship is split in regular season and play off/play out.

In the team records are counted only the matches and goals from Play Off. The ones from the regular season are not counted.

To anyone having problems with crashes I would advise to post it in bug tracker on official SI forum along with your save, then they can have a look at it

I've also sent the save to support. Both in game and I've also posted on the official SI forum.

No response so far on both ends.

Some people in the discord were suggesting that may have something to do with having the Spanish league loaded. This is a major bug, I hope they fix it.

I simulated 4 years of career with Real and it didn't throw me to the desktop, interesting.

Happened to me. I change the skin in the settings and fixed it.

This is a minor bug (so far at least), I'm in my 3rd season using Sunderland. I just won the UCL and this pops up.

In the previous season, I made it to the final and lost, where it occured (on a different player). got qualified for UCL tho as I won the league, which doesn't make sense as it says "wants to play in high level european football".

Not a bug per say, but 'nothing happens in the second half' syndrome is getting worse this year. Literally bringing on players in minute 65 who get zero touches by the end of the game.

Not sure if it's bug but when I play on my Galaxy S22, it heats up very fast, even more than playing Genshin Impact. But when I play on my Galaxy A8+ (2018), the game runs smoothly and does not get hot like S22. I know the S22's GPU gets very hot when gaming, but it can't be that fast when I'm just at the loading screen. So I think it's not because of the better graphics. The graphics on S22 look squashed when running in stretch mode, making the game look like the versions from 2017. May be the game's optimization is too bad. There's no way an A8+ (2018) can play this game smoother than S22 and the graphics are way better.

Again 'nothing in the second half' - I subbed on 4 players at 65 minutes and they touched the ball a total of five times between them.
