Help Are there any tactics that make IF or IW or even W score?

I've tried several tactics, but in all of them it's very difficult to make the side attackers score goals. I would like to know if anyone knows or has a tactic that makes them score more goals.

Thanks bro, will try and post the results here.

The tactic I've posted has gotten goals from an IF. My first team IF has 8 goals in 12 appearances and my second team IF has 5 in 9.

I just saw it, I'll try it too. would be the formation that plays with an IF and an AF, right?

Best instances for making scoring iF's in my experience (and bear in mind that I'm not the 'best' manager in the world) ...

  • Make sure your IF's are better at scoring than providing (so higher shooting than passing, low team-work - you don't want them passing rather than shooting just because someone else is in a better position - sod that, they should want the glory).
  • Look at their 'traits' and try and find ones which encourage goals - ie. takes first time shots, shoots with power etc. ... and avoid those which dissuade shooting, ie. passes rather than shoots etc.
  • Give your central forward a role which means he isn't a goal hog (ie. don't make him a poacher) - deep lying forward for example ...or a 'target man' who has high teamwork and higher passing than shooting.
  • Don't play 'really attacking' mentalities - you want to give the IF's a chance to get into the box, you're trying to play 'smart' not fast.
  • If you haven't already install the game update.

I just installed the new update but didn't do any matches, did it change that IF's question? For better or for worse?

You should find their movement has improved and that they're a little more incisive in terms of cutting into the box with their movement, but do bear in mind the above points if you want to maximise their contribution.
