Challenge Reveal

Over the years, I’ve been known to be highly capable of creating game breaking single striker and three strikers tactics. Despite that, dual striker has something I can’t seems to get right. We’re going to break that and solve the enigma surrounding my tactic creating ability. Thanks to @Rob 🤣, I’ll be making a DT career.

The Club

A beautiful historical city and also the capital city of Italy, we are going to the better side of Rome. Our choice today would be the obvious, AS Roma.

The Players

Coming from a club of rich history, I found a promising young Argentinian striker lurking, waiting for his chance. A striker of complete package, will he  challenge Serie A legend status of another former Roma striker Gabriel Batistuta? I present to you…

image.jpeg.22da25bfa69982577804c41c8a1221e4.jpeg

Valentin Carboni who will be one of our two main player of this challenge.

Moving on, we are heading to Germany in the city of Dortmund. Visiting the Signal Iduna Park to see one of the brightest talent of his generation, a prolific, highly technical and rapid striker, he’s none other than..

Youssoufa Moukoko. Who else can conquer this challenge if not one of FM’s best wonderkid in recent years?

Ooh, nice choices! Much braver than me though, to go without ITN and in a harder league. Much respect! Can't wait to see how you go.

Eww… ITN management. Who even like that thing? 🤣🤣

You guys taking on 1KC, 2KC, 3KC, DT, TT always baffle me, you're incredible. I'm proficient in creating tactics which stifle the opposition and win games with good performances and goals spread amongst the team, but I can never manage to create something which scores goals in bulk or funnels them through 1 or 2 attacking players.

Good luck to you @broodje kipshould be an interesting journey, especially with 2x different nationalities and no INT management to boost their numbers!

Love it.

Very ambitious!!!

I've got the perfect idea of who I am going to use but not sure what league I'll run yet.

Nearly finished up my 3k challenge with Endrick, once I've done that I'll test a few tactic to see what works best.

Will be following you closely to see how things are working out for you.

Excited to see progress

Never really gotten myself into getting a good DT tactic. I haven’t even found one yet. This career is basically me livestreaming my tactic making

Good luck on finishing the 3kc. Something I learned from scratch is that tweaking a little bit of your 1kc tactic usually can help making a good DT or TT tactic.

Good luck buddy!! I have a recommendation for those (crazy motherf@@@) who want to achieve this challenge...the Hojlund brothers..the famous Rasmus from Atalanta and the two years younger Emil from Kobenhavn...both are tall and with high potential..

Ahh interesting. Not quite my kind of strikers but definitely are Scratch’s type.

Nice! Good luck, Moukoko should be a 'safe' bet but I've never even seen Carboni before!

Neither has I. He looks very interesting though. Looking forward to see how he develops.

Here's my 2,5 season Emil after a 'bad' mentorship at first season, due to restricted budget of my team..he has a lot potential to improve..Screenshot_2023-01-18-15-23-40-347_com_sega.soccer.eleven.thumb.jpg.27ef0f76d8bc29093df2716ddb5fefeb.jpgScreenshot_2023-01-18-15-23-46-464_com_sega.soccer.eleven.thumb.jpg.714a1b36cc25f68e9d8fecf07bbba5a6.jpg

Yeah, they look like it and Alaoui was on my radar, but I don't think Moerstedt is that good. But anyway, I'm really happy with my choice as my guys are a step up on most of the other guys mentioned and while that isn't always good, I'll take it...

Yeah perhaps. Not much other young striker you can get at Celtic better than Tel. Maybe Moukoko but idk if you can still get him to Cetic in FM23.

Good luck with this challenge! You're a lot braver than I, going with Roma and forfeiting the ITN job. But given how cracked Moukoko still is in this year's FM, wouldn't be surprised if you complete the challenge anyways =P

SEASON 1

As previously shared, we were battling for the title with AC Milan with 8 games to go. Did we manage to get it though? Before we go to that part, let’s see how our transfers look like.

Apart from our two boys, we signed Sebastian Villa to be our new right winger. Could never go wrong with Villa isn’t it.

No one got sold this year. Lucky for them. Some players went on loan. It’s not like I even need them after all.

Moving on, let’s see how we performed in the league?

Well we didn’t manage to win it unfortunately. They say Rome wasn’t built in one day…

… well looks like it wasn’t built in 328 days either :D

We did win the Europa League though despite losing the Italian Cup.

A very entertaining final we got. Champions League here we go!

This is how my tactic looked like throughout the season. Of course it was tweaked a lot along it. Slightly different from my FM21 La Pulga tactic.

This is how Carboni developed this season. Overall pretty pleased with it. Would be hoping to get higher aerial though.

He scored a modest sum of 14 goals this season. Hoping for higher return next season. Maybe 30-40 goals?

ADC0F70F-D619-40DD-9054-F54A5F454533.thumb.png.3ab8fe99966fcf90f78a071e0a398919.png

Moukoko developed to be quite a beast for 18 y/o as expected.

Same as Carboni, only 14 goals for him. Was rather sub-par for most part of the season. He however did pick up the pace towards the end of the season. Big season incoming next season.

Now let’s see how the rest of the team does.

C4F44FA7-7F0B-49DF-979E-7275CAFB1B4E.thumb.png.0cc44e5e8be24d4e09f9598d74c5dea8.png

Belotti is our top scorer despite playing as sub for most of the games. Proving how good the tactic could be with more developed strikers.

Carboni is our top assister with 10 assists. Not what we needed but is useful for his early development.

Spinazzola became our best player with 7.54 avr this season.

Carboni: 14/2000

Moukoko: 14/2000

Stay tune for season 2 update.
