Career DT double 2K - brazil bros

It’s probably impossible but let’s give it a go. Double Trouble 2K coming up…

I used Celtic for my 1k so was keen to use someone else but they really are the perfect mix of super easy league and decent transfer pot. So here we go again…

 

My approach for this (and nightclubs) is to go as young as possible, so after a lot of scouting and weighing up options I went for…

It had to be didn’t it? Young, massive PA and decent to start. But short. 
I thought about Vitor Roque to go along side him but as he’s a year older than Jimmy Endrick, I went for the youngest Brazilian I could find who had the potential to deliver for us. And here is where my downfall begins…

He’s not even a bloody striker. What am I thinking?

A familiar shape for this challenge moving to 1 at the back but who needs IWB when you can have WB and leave your defender all on his own. Expect goals at both ends. 

Some other new signings behind the boys but I went too wonderkid heavy too soon. It’ll take a season or two to get up to speed but with them being so young we have time to mould the squad.

Wingers were scoring too many goals in testing so I switched to IW and might be on to something. Based solely on one good performance 😂

Good luck mate! Nice call with Guilherme, he is top top class and will retrain no worries (I think!).

I'm the same with the wonderkids approach, probably worse as I've gone with a lot of young Spanish players purely on the basis that if they can get a work permit, they must be pretty decent! Some will bomb out, some will become legends, but we'll be a bit average for the first 6 months.

Well, I'm sure I missed out on some that would be fantastic and I'm sure a few duds got through, but because I was buying early before I could scout them (because I didn't want them to sign new contracts with higher release fees while they were being scouted), that was the best logic I could come up with!

That result was a complete anomaly haha. Well the tactic did fine, but no better than others that were more stable.

Good luck! I like the players you decided to go with, needless to say Endrick will grow into an absolute beast, Guilherme also looks to be extremely promising, though I've never used him so I can't say for certain. Also RIP Aberdeen xD

Season 1

Well here we go. A quick update as I watch Spurs crumble…

After that great first match (fluke) that tactic wasn’t delivering what it needed to. My team needs to level up before one at the back is a viable option. So midway through the season I changed to a combination of this and my 1k tactic and it was a lot more solid. 
 

I’ll see how this delivers as the team develops. 
 

Onto the season…

Here’s how the boys are looking. Some good stats but a long way to go. Still, they’re very young so plenty of time left. A growth spurt would be nice…

 

I moved them to my B team when their fitness suffered to see if it would make a difference and it didn’t, all it did was mess up the detailed stats. Totals are there though. 
73 goals between them. We need a lot more but Endrick is yet to turn 17 so plenty of improvement to come. 
 

Absolute group of death in the CL meant I crashed out at the group stage. Didn’t do particularly well outside of the league due to a lack of depth but all good for a team of youngsters. 

Transfers:

Sold some fringe players to raise money and got rid of a couple more in part exchanges.

Signed some key players for my system with creativity needed and a new GK mostly. Depth is essential for the coming season though.

Team:

Assists coming from all over which is nice but mostly my WB due to how I play  wingers should do more now they’re better. Abada needs to stop scoring…

 

Goals:

Endrick: 49/2000

Luis: 24/2000

Total: 73/4000

 

Almost there…

Season 2

A step up this season but a long way to go still before we’re firing on all cylinders. 
 

The boys:
Some good improvements all round and still very young. I’m hoping aerial will go up more but my mentoring didn’t go quite as planned so not sure how it’ll end up. Either way, they’re still improving. 

 

90 goals between them for a good second season. I was hoping to clear 100 but the second half of the season was inconsistent as players got tired and over played. 
 

We won the domestic triple but had a tricky CL run. Beat Milan 3-1 at the San Siro but then lost 3-0 in the home leg with Luis skying a 1 on 1 in the 90th minute. 

Transfers:

Managed to shift a lot of the dead wood and bring in some good squad players. Had a nice offer for Rosas and managed to bring bring in Porro to replace him so very happy there. Also brought in Doue for the future midfield enforcer role, Demiral to toughen up the defence and then had a panic looking for a left winger settling on Santos who was good in the end.  

 

Team:

Assists coming from all wide players and my AM. Nice to not be too reliant on any one player for assists. 

 

Me:

90 goals this season took us to 163 in total. 
 

Endrick: 104/2000

Luis: 59/2000

Total: 163/4000
