It would be an honour! To be honest the depth that Holland have is ridiculous. Plus, the quality of regen the game churns out is amazing.

Season 6

Transfers:

Rensch leaves for Dortmund. The player coming through is good enough to take his position. Ibanez leaves on a free. Gutted about this but he wouldn't sign a new contract. My main signing, Cavani is a French/Uruguayan CB and will replace him. The other player coming in was a young winger that I have big hopes for.

 

Competitions:

Another perfect season. Only 8 goals conceded in the League too. I'm delighted with that even though this is a goalscoring challenge.

 

International:

Just qualifiers this year. Simons managed 12 goals in 13 games and Misehouy scored 11 in his 12 games.

 

The Lads:

Remarkably, Simons went another season without an injury. Misehouy did suffer a 2 week injury though.

Bastoni moves on after a short stint because he wanted to leave. Fair enough. Bye-bye!

Simons scored 14 goals in 11 Internationals and Misehouy scored 11 in 11 games.

 

The Lads:

Simons couldn't keep up his run of injury free seasons and missed 3 weeks this year. It was Misehouy's turn to get a full season of games.

So, both are almost half way there. Still only 23 so I'm on course to get it done but won't be breaking any records with the time taken to get there. Ha! On the whole, I'm happy.

Another good season in the bag. I'm still hoping the goals pick up a bit but that's down to the players around them I think. I'm sharing out corner taking and free-kick takers as there's really nothing between my wingers and wing-backs. They all have either 19 or 20 crossing and I always left footers crossing from the left and right footers from the right. Maybe it's a hinderance but while the numbers are still good enough I don't want to tamper with things too much.

Nothing major here. Bastoni heads back to Inter after requesting a transfer. The major incoming is a young Italian winger.

Misehouy picked up a minor injury but Simons stayed injury free.

No significant incomings. Timber moves on after a decade of top class performances. He wanted a new challenge so with the players I have to replace him I didn't stand in his way. Got a monster fee for him too.

Nothing to report other than goals scored. Simons managed 12 goals in 11 games while Misehouy scored 11 in 13.

 

The Lads:

Misehouy was lucky enough to go the full season untouched. He needs a few of these to catch up. Simons suffered a minor injury during the season, towards the very end. He also had a 3 week injury but luckily it was after the season had ended.

Unbelievable season! This is what I thought we'd be hitting every year. Ha! Obviously, after 11 seasons I realise my expectations were a bit warped. I'm thinking I might be able to get them to both have a 100 goal season.... Maybe?! I'm ecstatic to get this close though so either way. I'm happy.

Simons managed just 11 goals in his 11 games. Misehouy had a great year netting 20 goals in 12 games.

 

The Lads:

Our hopes of getting a 100 goal season for one or both of the lads depended fully on them not picking up injuries. Unfortunately neither were lucky enough to stay fully fit for the entire season.

Simons had two 10 day stints out as well as picking up a knock that kept him out for a few days. Misehouy had a 10 day and 3 week injury.

During the recovery from injury Simons managed to upgrade a little. Attributes that I struggled to get green, like Aerial and shooting are now 15. Which is lovely.

The injuries impacted Misehouy's returns. He was saved by the brilliant numbers he got for Holland this season.

Never a chance of a dual 100 goal season..... Yet! Haha!
