I'm not usually a tactics poster but having mentioned a challenge idea on another thread i decided i would give one of the tactics mentioned a go.

I chose Wrexham as my team of choice and loaded England only.

I had designed 9 tactical formations and as the title suggests(if you know your Spanish) this one is based around the number '5'.

I suggested that the positioning of the players had to stay as is but roles and instructions can be altered to suit.

I did a full National League season finishing 1st and scoring over 100 league goals.

I had forgot to get a league table shot so this will have to do as proof.

I played Paul Mullin in AF position and he did very well indeed notching a respectable 52 goals.

If you fancy giving it a shot then please do so. It may and probably will need tweeking for different teams/leagues but it worked very well in deepest depths of English football.

Not really because we are playing slow tempo and have 3 fitness coaches it kind of balance itself out.

Dont get me wrong though i did have 1 or 2 that got tired but thats what subs are for and a big squad.

Looks intriguing.. interesting indeed, Woody. haven't tried any asymmetrical formations yet this year. There's a few I have in mind.

They seem to do pretty well to be honest.

May get exposed higher up though.

As a sucker for IFs, I have to ask... Do they score/assist with this tactic? It's difficult to get them going this year 😕
