Hi. I've been thinking for a while of starting a new career and keeping a blog of it to engage with other fans of the game.

I'm looking for some inspiration of what team to use, looking for a challenge starting from the bottom and working up to the top - any suggestions welcome.

I recommend Parma. + bring up and raise a goalkeeper for the national team (when there is such a legendary mentor for that)

Personally, I love it when smaller clubs that share the same city as a much bigger club (Ex: Paris FC & PSG, 1860 Munich & Bayern) manage to topple them and take their place. If you're aiming to start from the bottom, maybe this might suit you. Other clubs that suit this idea would be Sparta Rotterdam (sharing the city of Rotterdam with Feyenoord), Torino (sharing the city of Turin with Juventus) and Espanyol (sharing the city of Barcelona with... well, Barcelona).

I like this idea! I did think abut doing an 1860 Munich season recently when I came across them in the German cup of my current save file. 

Think I might have to go for that!
