🤣🤣🤣

Ronaldo at Huddersfield, love it!

I think I'm going to have to pick that without thinking about it.

He's not exactly Jimmy Glazzard but I guess he'll do 😆

7/13 votes in.

All 3 get plenty of playing time to assist/score so no need to worry whether they're on the grass or not. Hope that helps 😃

Sorry, too many things running through my head... I know we don't have the winter update yet but imagine Warnock managing Ronaldo 🤣 with Rocket Ron as an attacking mentor... I reckon it would actually work though!

(You can blame Bati for provoking the oblique Huddersfield Town references, sorry, not sorry @leedsunited87 😉)

Surely Zlatan chose this challenge so Zlatans ego have chosen that all shall trust that he - god of gods - will ease this!

( Zlatan made me write this )

I've played 7 rounds now, there's 3 left. And uhmm all 3 have led the race with their best run at some point...

Can't say anything more .. 🤐

Wow - it’s an example of how balanced the options are, that the votes are spread almost equally amongst them every round!

Crikey. I can’t get him to score many as a starter for Man. United - can’t imagine he’ll score / assist that many for the mighty Town.

I think this could be either between Messi or Zlatan - really could be either 😬

I agree with you, I think Messi should clinch it (obviously that's my vote) just for pure stamina, for me I've used Ibra and he picks up to many injuries or dies of death after 50/60 mins, so hopefully I'm right in Messi

  Time To Say Goodbye

The Results

Here we go, let's waste no time and see who comes out on top between 3 legends of the game. Most assists + goals combined wins.

As mentioned in the previous update, I've holidayed the 2nd half of the season for each of the 3 options 10x. Each player has had a couple of terrible runs, bang average runs but below they will go face to face to face with their very best run !

The best run of Messi at Newcastle Vs the best run of Ronaldo at Huddersfield Vs the best run of Zlatan at Celtic..

January Games

Messi - Newcastle + 3

  1. Zlatan - 5
  2. Messi - 3
  3. Ronaldo - 0

Messi and Ronaldo do both very well in April, but it's Zlatan who has just turned on GOD mode for Celtic. Incredible +8 (5gls + 3 asts) for the Swede who now leads Messi by 1 pt and Ronaldo by 4 pts. Only the month of May left to play. A nail biting end to the finish line...

  1. Zlatan - 20

… PS. You can see how much time I put into this round - I … er … didnt realise Huddersfield were in the Championship! I thought they were still in the Prem - hence why Ronaldo wouldn’t score many. Ooops!

Ronaldo only gets 1 more game in May but does score an extra 4 pts to add to his tally, putting him level with Zlatan on 20 pts... temporarily. Messi plays another 4 games and manages +3 pts only, ending his season on 22 pts in virtual top spot. However, Zlatan scored +4 pts from his remaining 5 games, leaving his doubters in little doubt as to whom is the undisputed King of FMM... today.

All 3 did quite an amazing job for AI players in just ½ season. But it's Zlatan who takes 75% of the cake, Messi earns himself 25%, which leaves Ronaldo scavenging for crumbs.

Final Score:

  1. Zlatan - 24 ( 3 pts )
  2. Messi - 22 ( 1 pt )
  3. Ronaldo - 20 ( 0 pts )

We're halfway this Cup now and things are slowly starting to evolve at the top into serious contenders to claim the FMM Cup 2 Champion title. Altho, nobody is out of the running just yet, so keep fighting and hoping till the very last round. Everything's possible!!

41 and still earning applauses, Oldham has a 41 in Peter Carke, he's lucky if he get an applause coming as a sub 😂 well done Zlatan, was and still is a formidable striker

I have fond memories of Peter Clarke, good on him still going at 41!

There's no one to assist to in that Huddersfield team 😂 and I bet he'd have rather outscored his two rivals like he did than having won this challenge.
