Now i’m really struggling with Malaga, we are conceding a lot of goals. Maybe the squad is too young and need time. In January we are in 16th position, let’s see if the end of the season we’ll be better for us 🤞🏼

Looks good! Surprisingly changing the DW to WM and 2 PFs upfront doesn't work for myself. So i'll stick with the original. Maybe with another team.

I use T at amc, who will cover more area in attacking. And to balance the middle field, I set one CM who can link defenders and attackers. I put L in side. He will move  in front of my S to join the pass and closedown. 

I found trun on defense line high and closedown all over will help my team to win the possessions, so I will do when my team can not control the game. 

And more, formation(3412) is a good shape to press opposite team. 

 

Looks good! Spurs is also a good choice for this tactic. Kane is the perfect DLF. But maybe i'll try ACMilan or Wolfsburg (but with 2 pf's).. so many options haha

We turn around the season! We played a good match against Villareal in spanish cup and then our season finally started. 

A lot of wins, just two losses and two draws. In the playoff we dominated Zaragoza and Oviedo and we got promoted!

I don’t know exactly what happened, just keep playing, more attention in team talks, changed two of my starters and nothing more. Great effort by my guys!

Today i had a lot of free time so i continued my save; left Malaga and the only team who wanted me is Feralpi Saló in Italian Serie C. Bought some players from free agents list who were suitable for the tactic and we got promoted without any problem!
This is the journey of the team before my hiring:

In the last season i managed Modena, italian Serie C again. I had some good players and bought some good additions from the free agent list and we reached the Serie B even with Modena playing another nearly perfect season! We also won Serie C cup and the Supercup!

Always played with the original version; with the right players this tactic is just too good in my opinion, especially in home games! 🙏🏼

The only thing i just wanna ask you is if you have any suggestion for away matches because at home we are unbeatable but sometimes we struggle away from our stadium 🤔

Both the versions I used at the time this tactic was posted are still working well on the current version.

Might even be a little better now than it was then.

Hi... i did not see this tactic.. but i start using DK Falcon tactic then i realised its the same.. 

DK Falcon using WM instead of DW.. but different roles in strikers.. 

Just sharing bros..

In Coppa Italia no problem against Juventus in the final, 6-2 without any discussion.

The grand final is the Champions League. Our start was so bad, lost 3-0 against Benfica and 2-1 against Chelsea, draws against Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, so we had to battle Ajax in the knockout. No problem, 3-0 at home and go next, Manchester City. 
Crazy game in Firenze, crazy performance by the team. We won even in England with a little bit of luck, 0-1 with big free kick by Miretti.

Then we had the rematch against Benfica. Lost 2-1 in Portugal but at home we won at the penalties.

Semifinal is another rematch against Atletico Madrid. Won in Spain with a big performance and managed the result at home.

The final was a very fought game against Man United, but we are european champions thanks to the Carnesecchi and the penalties again.

One less conceded and one less scored than your other test.

Suggests the wingers change hasn't effected things much.

I tried the dk falcon version (2 WMs instead of DW). Yea like others here have said, the key is the SS. I use Barcelona and have put different players in SS position. Joao Felix, Pedrola, Pablo Torre, Pedri, Ansu, Ferran Torres, and Musiala. Every single one of them scores in almost every game. Musiala almost got 60 goals last season. I think the SS role is buffed? I tried a different tactic with Roma, using Dybala SS and the front PF and DLP. The PF and DLP got 15+ goals each while Dybala scored 30+. Tried another different tactic with SS, and the SS always performs. I think it's just that SS is crazy good in this version of the game

Which version of the tactic are you using :)? And did you use the tactic from season one till ten?

I used the version with WM at the winger. And yeah i used from Season 1 Day 1 till now.. still very very good..

Who do people use as the SS? I've tried quite a few and always seem to come back to Gonçalves.

He is the best one I've come across in the game so far.

It's worked on every team I have tried it with but some it takes longer than others, because you need to build the team. It does need players that suit the roles or training your players into the roles and that takes time.

On a few of my saves the tactic suddenly kicked in half way through a season or even half way into season 2 in some cases.

Great tactic, I have very much enjoyed finding suitable new Wonderkids for retraining in the Libero, RP, WM and DLF positions (never used any of those roles previously in my own tactic).

So what's the general consensus here now, as there are lot's of variations and tweaks in this thread.

Best front line is what, DLF and AF or the 2 x PF?

Shadow or Trequartista?

RP and BBM or ???

I'd love to hear from the OP, Van The Man, about which version he now uses himself.

Anyway, blah, mostly just wanted to give props to a great tactic that has revitalised the game for me in the final part of the year while I wait for FMM24... finally after all these years West Ham in FMM24 will have a team capable of winning trophies and titles without buying anyone!!
